The media houses are no longer as free and independent as they ones used to be, they are now prone to lots of control and external influence. governments and influential people with interests can use them for smear campaigns against BTC

I think they are only selfish and they know that the community of bitcoin is increasing and has increased already to a higher amount so they like to share any news with which they want to get the readers at a high scale. They know that on internet they will find the bitcoin users easily as the internet community is going to be the bitcoin community so they know that they will earn from the traffic to them because of strange news. But we have to ignore them and we have to read the news only from those who are in the favor of bitcoin and who tell the truth about bitcoin. |

Some people who don't understand bitcoin process is making fake news. People make reports with bitcoin that are not true. That is why some people are afraid to invest and will not join crypto because they are afraid to lose money. Some reporters and bloggers also wants to put cryto currencies or bitcoins down becs. they don't understand the deepest worth of it to many people. |

i guess bitcoin dont wanted it to happen. Bitcoin doesnt threaten them because bitcoin is built in only for digital purposes and that is to have an additional payment method that is decentralized or fully independent. banks and goverments are only thinking a negative way about bitcoin , that is why they make a false accusiation and they are using these social medias in order to discredit bitcoin. They want more people to believe that bitcoin is the root of all evil but the is actually a lie. |

Because many media are controlled by people who can control the media. They do not want bitcoin to be a legal transaction in the country i'm sure of it. Especially the media may be in government control as we know many governments are blocking bitcoins. Hence only negative news in the country.

Because of the risks involve in a very unstable market really. They are just warning tho and it really is up to the people really. If they view this as negatively or they are easily swayed by the media then it's their lost. Nonetheless, they are just a bunch of people fearing new things instead of learning, understanding and adapting in this wonderful technology which transcends any races or location in order to do transactions. |

For media those news matters which can improve their ratings.When Bitcoin was going up they were not spreading such rumors but when the price of Bitcoin gets down they start warning people to get good ratings.

Not all mass media is negative on Bitcoin, you are just more suseptible to bad news. But negative attitude of a certain part of leading global media sources is based on corresponding approach of their owners who often linked with traditional financing sphere or are state-controlled ones. Some others are just a strong tool of big players to manipulate the cryptomarket and public sentiments. It is just a business for them. Moreover, a lot of journalists personally still have a biased attitude towards blockchain technology and cryptotrading taking into consideration a wide spread of ignorance and prejudices among them ("criptocurrency is a bubble and Ponzi-scheme", etc).
But very often mass media simply follow trends, and if the whole situation around cryptoassets worsens they begin to force a negative approach and vice verse to draw attention. It helps them to be in the spotlight.

Is not all about media is negative about bitcoin but people, government or an organization sponsored media to say negative thing about bitcoin. Many Government in the world are not very satisfied with decentralized cryptocurrency because with time Government will not be so much relevant.

Media's job is to publishing news . whatever the news is. They just need famousity . so they try to find out controversial news . so bitcoin is most controversial subject now a days. So they publish about it . sometime negative some time positive. Negativity publish helps them to create controversy and make them popular as well. I think that's why.

You must have heard the proverb "Half Knowledge is dangerous", the same proverb applies to the media these days. Most of the journalists have absolutely no clue about the market and they just try to scare the people off. Also, a lot of people who weren't investing in bitcoin were hoping for the bubble to burst, and they did send a wave of negative vibes across the internet.
