please help me seriously to leave gambling ????

Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
 

10 BTC is a quite huge money if you have bought these coins at a current or last year market price.

 i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...

Discuss with your family members first to help you out and if you think you're still not able to stop gambling by yourself then the best option for you is to consult some professionals to help you out.

If not, you need to pick up another good habit to keep you busy during your free time then you can slowly forget about gambling. If you keep visiting these sites even for few minutes every day you can't come out of it so you must stop visiting these sites completely for some time.

Not discussing about gambling can take your thoughts of gambling, but it is far away from stopping. Also, OP posted something in cricket prediction thread, and I just don't think he is serious about his situation.

Some addictions go really far, beyond  a point where you're able to help yourself without someone intervening.

I don't know about meditation, but I think finding someone who can force you to stay out is a great idea. It can be a girlfriend/boyfriend who will make you forget about everything, gambling included. It can be a good spiritual teacher, but be careful with the letter lest you have a problem much worse than gambling addiction.

Anyway, OP, this world is full of people who can propose you an activity which is more engaging than gambling. You just have to concentrate on finding them.

gambling is aso known as being addicted in gambling known as mentally illness so as i suggest to you. you must go throug counselling or go to a doctor can give you some advice to leave gambling and can explain it to you seriously why do you have to quit gambling and after that you can really realize that you have to leave that gambling for being addicted. i am also an gambling person but i really discipline myself not being addicted in gambling.

Hanging out with people who do not gamble do help but if you are already addicted to gambling sometimes you prefer not going to out even with people you love that is why there are a lot of broken families because of gambling. I think the only person who can an gambling addict is himself becauee no matter how we try to help someone if he doesnt want to quit then nothings going to happen.

LOL that is how you can out from the gambling huh dude. There are many people came out from the drugs with the help of Doctors but I do not know any one single person who is came out gambling by counseled them.
Until the money out from the pocket investors will not able to came out gambling fever. May they can reduce the value on betting and playing games. Gradually attract towards the other investment option. With in few months completely able to recover from it.

Rest your mind, do not focus on gambling and do other activities that you think are positive and can forget for a moment about this defeat. That kind of money could be a reason for you to stop gambling. Make an investment instead.

I think you need to take a rest like above me said and stay away from the gambling activities. maybe you can take a recreation with your family to other places. but you need other people to be on your side to give warning or explanation for you so you don't have time to come to the gambling place or open the gambling sites. you need to defeat this if you really want to leave gambling forever, other people cannot help you if you are not serious to leave the gambling.

Just for your information, there are de-addiction centers out there which specifically deal with addiction to gambling. I don't know about your location, but I guess such centers may be available in your vicinity as well. And I would advice you to get admitted to one very soon, before you completely ruin yourself financially.

It is not easy to divert mind at all when you know you are addicted to something. He needs a help of some professional or someone who loves him a lot. Without moral support, it is not possible at all to come out of such addictions. Family support is crucial here. He needs to discuss his problem openly with the person whom he trusts. If there is no one available, go to hospital and visit a psychologist there.

We all familiar with the "only you can help yourself" formula but although it sounds good it doesn't work in many cases, and I think gambling is one of them. If nobody around you can help you to quit gambling this does not mean that no one in the world can help you. Keep looking for the right people in your life because sometimes we surround ourselves  with the wrong ones. The OP does want to quit, but he can't without help of others and that's why he's asking for the help here. I don't think the right reply would be "help yourself by your own".

You can't even help yourself so how can we help you, not even your friend and you even don't know us? Before you seek help, try to find a solution yourself since you know yourself, you know how will you able to deal with your self.

If you are eager to stop yourself from gambling, you must have some actions that you have done that will slow down your gambling activities and if that is the dead end for you, seek help from the professionals. The longer you stay in that state, the more you will not change.

Seeing a doctor or seeking professional help is a good idea and you'll learn on how deal with addiction. But sometimes, gamblers are also hard headed that don't follow the prescription and advise of the doctor. He needs to discipline himself and that's not going to be an easy part. What he must do is to set a plan and make that plan into goals so that he will be encouraged of doing others things just to avoid gambling.
