To my mind BNT is something like a decentralized exchange (please correct me if i'm wrong!). Since classic exchanges like poloniex and bittrex probably will face huge problems when the regulation hits hard, DEX's will remain functional.

It's the only coin that's in red in all three counts. Infact every major coin is doing better than eth per ROI except this. What is the point of holding this, if all it ever going to do is follow eth like a shadow.

Well it's hard to get a good ROI when you did one of (or even THE?) most expensive ICO's of all time.

It's still under ICO price, during the ICO I bought Bancor tokens at the rate of 1eth = 100 Bancor. So it's still cheap in my opinion as long as it's under the ICO's price but honestly I dont think it will go up that much, 100x is unrealistic.

I am glad I sold it when they used to have a buywall on their smart contract.
There are more and more project on their platform but most of them are not very serious.

Well it's hard to get a good ROI when you did one of (or even THE?) most expensive ICO's of all time.  

No, not at all, Bancor is a liquidity system, which is much more than a "decentralized exchange". Coins adopting the Bancor protocol become "liquid" towards one or more other assets, something which absolutely didn't exist in cryptos before Bancor. You don't need any more a counterparty to buy or sell a coin which is using the Bancor protocol. It is as if there were a bank which would any moment give you any liquidity you need. With Bancor the cryptocurrencies look more and more like real finance.

Of course nothing is sure in the world and in cryptos even less. But one of the few cryptos which I would bet will be still around and mooning in a few years time is exactly Bancor, even only because it is a one of its kind.

I think that protocols generally have a slow start. Bancor is going to do quite well in the future, especially given the fact that it has so many partnerships with other promising companies.

BNT has a huge potential. Some experts in crypto currencies are saying that it could become the YOUTUBE of crypto currencies. Some like it, some don't like it. I like it and I think it could have a big jump in the next few weeks. It is very cheap around $ 3.20 now and are just 40 million coins out there. If you don't like it I DONT CARE you are the one who will miss the flight, so go away. I'm just trying to tell people how good it is and my opinion.

I am still waiting for that to happen. For now, it was even better to hold ethereum compared to investing in their ico

Yes, but my question was referring to investments OUTSIDE of cryptos, where indeed 100X returns are indeed relatively frequent. Yes, Bancor is not proceeding very fast, but they are moving in uncharted territories, development is naturally slower than usual. I am very optimist about Bancor long term, but of course I'm investing also in many other coins, not to put all my eggs in one basket.

Of course, not a 100% sure Bancor will grow wildly as we struggle for today's huge correction. Consider this coin for long term investment, it surely give us profit. Do it takes a long wait, but seem to be a high earning coin compared to others. In the thing is that, Bancor does not grow so fast that could really compete other potentials coins in the market, that's why some investors doesn't look into these coin.

They still have to improve their product, which still has some issues which are not working as they should. But then, stability is not that bad asset if you look at the crypto blood bath of the past few weeks.

I had heard Bancor's name during the period when I was trying to follow the forum. I was looking at Bancor as a very strong project. I am still hopeful, but I have no investment. Maybe I can invest in the future.
