Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The XMR deposit addressess which disappeared, came back, but still there is no sign on the xmr I deposited. No any status, no any incoming transaction, nothing. It is relieving anyway, that those addresses came back. It could mean, that Kraken also have seeds of the adressess, so they have not lost my xmr. My request are #1207464 and #1211453. Hi, ticket number 1215117.

I see the LTC deposit in the Deposit section (it says "Success" btw), including amount, transaction ID and all other info you normally see when you deposit crypto. However, it's not yet credited to my account. It happened before with XRP and got fixed fast. Now with LTC I'm still waiting. Let's hope it gets fixed fast. |

What is going on? My deposit is missing but was sucessful hours ago. My money is in limbo. This is UNACCEPTABLE. No response from support. I am closing my account and getting all funds off as soon as possible. This is the worst service, borderline scam, of any exchange I have ever used.

You just lost a long time large volume trader. Getting screwed by you guys on a weekly basis is not going to happen anymore. My business will go elsewhere.
LOL, seems you aren't for long in crypto space. Kraken is very good despite all these problems. They don't steal unlike Bitcoin7, Gox, Vircurex, Cryptsy, ..... I also made a deposit which doesn't show in my balance, but I know it'll eventually get credited. |

You can try to escalate your ticket using the form below... in general, the exchanges are swamped by the recent huge influx of new users, hopefully they manage to scale up in the coming weeks. same problem for me too, deposited Bitcoin transaction successful but the account is not credited. I'm not worried that much but I'm just pissed I can't do the trade I needed to do now.
Do you see that the transaction has arrived with amount,time and address and it has some status, pending or succeed but just is not yet added to the balance? Or is like I have the issue that there no sing of incoming transaction. Nothing. I made xmr transaction 30. december. But still nothing. By address, tx ID and tx key, I can audit that transaction was valid and succesfull. But still nothing on Kraken. I also have such view that Kraken is no scammer, but they have just huge volume of customers and traffic. If someday someone develop a reliable and safe exchange would make millions. Anyway Kraken was pretty good so far.
That could be done the way that exchange takes the new customers on holding status, and do not let them inside system until there is enough servers to handle the traffic. |

Right now Kraken froze. Prices have frozen for all coins and you cannot place an order (it fails). this is the 2nd time I get this and it's really bad imho. Why does this happen?

Trading : error 5XX let us think about ...

You promise new engine trading for early december, then our ceo promise it for the 11/12, then our internet promise it for yesterday ...
You didn't update our twitter, our blog, explain what happen for this trading engine, if we will have back the advanced order ...
Trading engine don't come, and more off all, what work in past don't (deposit/withdraw) ....
You must do something quickly (at less in speeking to us) if you don't want a lot of customer answer the best bitcoin exchange ....
I just take fact.
I chose xrp to have less fee but more, be quickly to withdraw ... My money is blocked "on hold" since 26/12/2017, xrp go from 2.2 to 1.7 ... did you pay this ? did you make a commercial gesture to take our fault ?

in france, a commercial principle consists in explaining to young salespeople that a customer who fills up "justly" is a customer not yet lost, but that for 1 customer who makes 1 complaint, 10 have left without saying anything and will not come back...
On the other hand, a reputation is very long to develop well, but very fast to lose.

So, Kraken has not improved a bit....so nothing has changed Feeling sorry for everyone still trying to trade there then. It just shows what we have been saying for several months. Kraken and the people running it are just plain frauds, and in our opinion even criminals. It is suprisig though that they are able to maintain there SCAM by their obvious lies. Before leaving we received these promises o0f a new trade engine already since May last year. Then we were already told that Kraken's dev team is working hard on this new trade engine. So far, we can only say that they appear to have been hardly working on a solution. In total we estimate the damages done by Kraken to us to be roughly 50000EUR. And Kraken does not care to compensate, and they ignored every attempt to reach them via their own service tool on their website after it became clear to them that they ow us serious compensations according to their own ToS. We are currently in preparation of a lawsuit against them for fraudulent management of their trading platform (to describe it in general terms). We can only repeat it again and again. Stay away from these frauds. They only aim to get your money (fiat or crypto) onto their platform. As soon as you have initiated transfers, your lost. |

This horse excrement of a so called trading platform is currently at an error rate for placing orders of roughly 94%.
This is just as expected. Still the same fraudulent service as usual.
Seriously, we wouldn't be surprised if there is violence towards Kraken managers and/or employees soon by some frustrated user. And even though we do not like violence and ask everyone to refrain from it, it would be well deserved.

why do you continue to use a such exchanger? why don't you test it first?  why dont' use http://www.avatrade.com/forex/cryptocurrencies or https://www.plus500.com/ ? real forex exchangers. you won't ever face any issue. I keep seeing people complaining about exchangers but they are keep using them while there are alternatives. |

how much time does it take for an account to reach Tier 3 verification?
I have uploaded documents on 19th of December, and got only Tier 2 level and my documents are still under review. I have deposited Euros to my account and the transfer is on hold as well. I have tried contacting Kraken support and wrote several emails, sadly with no answer at all.. It took more then 2 weeks already, I cannot use my money, nor I receive any information from Kraken. It's a bit scary seeing some other exchanges collapsing..
What do you guys think is Kraken still trustworthy?
