i think the really great thing about this project is the ASCIC/GPU resistent.
but this is just on the paper.
how many days until the algo will be minable with GPU/SIC?

Asic resistance is a good feature, but not enough to make this fork anything amazing, I think the devs need to add some features asap, otherwise this coin gets lost in the fork zoo of the last 6months.

What makes Lightning Bitcoin better than other forks, i don't see a big community here, so store of value proposition is very weak.

The difference wallets the Light and Full node  is only the interest in downloading or not the blocks to the local computer?

LBTC has wallets. The exchange can withdraw them: https://www.digifinex.com/

Do you have any mainstream exchanges that's trading your shitcoin?

Anywhere that speak English?

haha.... You should take a good look at this announcement. It's got wallets on it.

Let me rephrase the question.

IS THERE ANY EXCHANGE WHICH ENABLES DEPOSITS OF YOUR COIN SO I CAN DUMP IT?

I sent a transaction hours ago and it seems stuck. Many blocks have been mined, but it is still unconfirmed.

It came from a segwit address: http://explorer.lbtc.io/transinfo?txhash=e8199d715f349c711b96008ab7080087c2876a42bfc3aa0c24c70bda57ce5e53

Any ideas how to confirm or maybe cancel it and send it again?

I successfully broadcasted a child pays for parent transaction with a much higher fee, but the block explorer doesn't find this tx id too.

Anyone know what is wrong?

Same here, have a transaction that I sent from the lightwallet stuck now for 2 days. Pretty darn disappointing.

LBTC can be deposited on BtcTrade exchange NOW! Thanks for your patience and support!!

Official website:
www.btctrade.im or www.btctrade.tv

This is good news, coins can now pass from weak to strong hands, I expect those fork hunters who don't bother researching coins will dump for peanuts, it's a great time to accumulate a position cheaply. If past forks is anything to go by the dump will be massive, so fiĺing a bag will be cheap. Lightning is a real dark horse in q4 , or early 2019

Sorry,we don't support segwit nor segwit address.

so, the post on the front page

"The original bitcoin holders can claim LBTC at a 1:1 ratio if you held BTC in the wallet or the supporting exchanges at Bitcoin block 499,999 (Dec. 18th, 2017) "

is a lie, Segwit holders at the snapshot can't claim.

Also, the graphic just below that claiming 21 million coin supply is also a lie. You can't say 21m coins then "oh but every coin on a segwit address is not supported"

Having the same exact problem. Using an old laptop, as I don't like to risk wallets like this on pcs I normally use and am too lazy to set up a virtual machine. I expect I need some windows updates or something... will try the dll file, see if that works.

Edit: And after adding the missing file into the correct directories didn't work, I went to step 2, updating C++... which then had an unspecified error when trying to install. Looked for a fix for the fix, and decided to give up for now. The VM option is looking better and better.

Figured out how to fix it, if you are still having issues.

First try simply downloading/adding that file... info on youtube/google as to where to download it and where to put the file. If that doesn't work, make sure your windows is up to date (at least 1st service pack on win 7)... then update C++ from Microsoft. After that, it worked for me.

Why LBTC it's a bad choice?

2.7kk for founder 4th February.

Decentralization? What's this?

  • 51 nodes taken by cobo pool. People dont care about ecology, vote only for rewards, for pool.
  • Other 48 nodes – its investors or founder nodes. Proof: take any node from 101, not pool. For example “ghostfaceuk”. Check voters, check few addresses and look how this addresses got coins. For example: 1BQGEE1SVdWrozWSU1duDgDZqdpzYdMCzQ 25th February from 1ZiqgsBUGurqHtEL3zrebR5GHsRKSgHzr and this address take 50 000 coins from fork 19XAxUp72VuwxYvrKE5DJWY1SGTCxDLbeH address. Also you can just look 1ZiqgsBUGurqHtEL3zrebR5GHsRKSgHzr transactions and check their votes. https://explorer.lbtcscan.io/address/1ZiqgsBUGurqHtEL3zrebR5GHsRKSgHzr it's easier.
  • Some votes from this address (1ZiqgsBUGurqHtEL3zrebR5GHsRKSgHzr) voted for cobo pool, so he take part of little investors rewards.

Segwit

  • LBTC cuted segwit support. I thought why the Segwit support was not included. And I came to a conclusion - to avoid competition. You can independently count how many coins were on Segwit addresses and cut them from the circulating supply.

Conclusion: founder trying hide his selling “community coins”, coin controlled by one man.

P.S. The article is written in a hurry, this is my personal opinion and I will be glad to hear the opinion of the community.

Update: Funny official answer from founder:

https://imgur.com/fA8ErWO

  • no any proof
  • no answers about votes for himself nodes and cobo pool
