I have read many posts of people saying they are sorry to have missed Bitcoin. But I wonder if they realise that there have been more than 20 trains out there that could have made them millionaires. They have managed to miss at least all these, some of them as recent as July last year. It is not that you missed Bitcoin, is that you (and I) just missed many many others  NXT 2013-09-28 +1084215% IOTA 2015-11-25 +418179% Neo 2015-10-01 +354482% Ethereum 2014-07-22 +265772% And the recent ones... Populous 2017-06-24 +12181% QTUM 2017-03-12 +10091% Be honest to yourself... you did have a chance! The real question should be what is the next? That seems to be a common theme on this forum. I think its the wrong question. Id prefer to concentrate on the technology and stay up to date with that so that when the next big project emerges, which it will because there isn't a coin out there with real use, I should have a good chance of spotting it before people who are only concentrated on fining the next 50x |

In the past week when the market recovered, many investors also made a lot of money when bitcoin and altcoin grew a lot. Now that bitcoin is down, if the bitcoin drops below $ 8k8 then you can prepare money to buy a low altcoin. There is always a reserve to buy good coins during the downturn. |

In the face of so many new cryptocurrencies arising each day, it would be really difficult to have enough capacity to analyze in depth which of them has the potential to experience a pump of such magnitude, but I am convinced that even those who had the fortune to buy at the right time, they never thought that such a level of profit would be possible, otherwise they would have invested everything they had to become immensely rich.
Therefore, I tend to think that deep down it is absolutely impossible to predict in advance any of these large pumps, and it is rather an act of luck to buy the right currency at the right time, with enough patience to not be tempted to sell as soon as they get 100% profitability.

I really do strongly agree with your point but just like any other things we do in life, we all have the capacity to learn over time and be better at everything we do when we acquire more experience in doing it. Which is why there are a lot of people that have already made a lot of money in this industry. Although I agree that it is pretty hard to find a good project and trust it fully to invest all your assets into, I think that it is still possible to make huge profits in this industry by diversifying and minimizing risks. Which may not make you rich in a single investment but can surely help to increase profits and investing capabilities. |

Yes that is right but there is still many other trains which are preparing themselves for the journey. We do not have to miss them in the wake of previous mistakes. We can see that many coins are preparing for their better future like XVG is getting much bigger partners and who will use this coin and will increase the demand of that coin so it is possible that it become a third coin in the marketcap.

Unfortunately for most of us you are right all of those are projects that I miss and to be honest I do not have any kind of excuse of why I did not invest but there is nothing that I can do to change the past, however I did not began investing until last year and even then I did not invest a huge amount of money, but I hope to change that in this year since I feel more confident about my knowledge to try to identify a potential successful ico. |

Crypto is such a large railway station, with so many trains that you can not travel at all. It remains to study the station itself and try to grasp the constantly passing trains.
and I think that for example the etherium is not the last crypto miracle that we will see.
for me I promotes the success of all cryptocurrencies, While Binance emerged as the premier altcoin exchange in 2017,i am studying those cryptocurrencies that can helped with me. and now im striving for greatness for me to live and become successful someday. im still studying the fluctuations of bitcoin and other crypto |

Yes, many digital coins have increased their initial value by hundreds of thousands and millions of times. Those individuals who have been engaged in crypto currency since its inception really had a better chance of earning it. However, the crypto currency will continue to develop for a long time, but only a few percent of the world's population uses crypto currency even today. Therefore, everyone who is already at this forum will still have a chance to succeed in the crypto currency.

You're right we should not rely on Bitcoin investments only in which we could shift some of our investment capital to some coins in which a promising investments too. Like the famous phrase says that do not put all of your eggs in just one basket because Bitcoin have failed so many times losing much possible income from the investors during the ultimate dip so i say we should not forget the experience but learn from it and start investing to the other coins. |

Those numbers really put things into perspective. Can't argue with 10000% increases. The good thing is that it isn't over yet. There will be much more trains to come and this could still be anyone's opportunity to hop on. I would still look at Bitcoin and Ethereum as coins with the most potential to grow over the coming years. |

lol that is so short sighted, there are going to be a lot of trains ahead.It's easy to say " you missed the trains" in the hindsight.
You could also invest in regular investment instruments and get decent return overtime. most people miss most of the trains but you only need one trade and it will change your life. so missing the train isn't as important, looking out for just next train and riding it will help. also hodling is not easy..people burned, lost, spend early bitcoin and now all that remain is sob story of 'i had 200 btc in 2010-2014 but i bought a tshirt' so there will be a alot of opportunity in the future.
There will be more opportunities in the future that is true, but cryptocurrencies have evolved, in the past you could invest a few dollars and you could earn a fortune, in my opinion those days are way behind us, if you want to earn a significant amount of money you need at least some capital to start with, and if you don't have that then your chances of changing your life with your investments are very low. |

True. There are alot of crypto currencies in the market now that really prospered and gained significant momentum last year. I'm pretty sure we all regret that we didn't join, so now we are on the hunt ourselves for the next coin that will do great next year. We just hope we don't miss it this time.

Actually it is not a big problem if we miss it because it is also part of learning that the rise of crypto is also great. so we can see the potential of coin or other tokens that still can not rise drastically |

Do you really think that all trains are gone and that new trains will not arrive at the station?  We didn't finish with crypto currency age but just started. Yeah even the ethereum if you just notice the value of ETHEREUM is increasing almost day by day and if there is going down trend in some markets eth will just keep stable value and it is consistently even so many tokens out there going down still eth is stable like bitcoin.

Indeed we are all behind in the World of digital currency for example if we buy bitcoin or altcoin a few years ago then now we have become rich with assets that we used to store in bitcoin and altcoin a few years ago but tips do not know that bitcoin will rise drastic as it is today
