paying customers do net get confirmation mails or status info.....do you expect they increase efforts for potential customers?

I see so  Angry Well! I would therefore like to thank Bitmine for cancelling my reservation queue order and not letting me pay for a now 3 week late (and counting) miner, or if it even it will ever exist.

I now place Bitmine in the same bag as BFL and Avalon, ie., same bag of shit.

Cheers.

You might be the lucky ones.

I am currently in an email conversation with BitMine.  The outcome of this will show whether this is a scam or not.

so if they are delayed for lets say 3-4 weeks and according to the customer protection plan that would entitle me for 20% more hashing power....

So how can they add 400 ghs in a complete 2 ths miner? send a second box with 2 blades inside?

Please give an update Bitmine, asap

Mail is from today.

I honestly dont think they are scam. i have 4 orders with them!
but i think they lack on costumer information like any other mining vendor.

zefir wrote in the group buy thread that they were now at the chip facility this week. probably the chips were late?

Crisis averted (for now).  I think it was just a misunderstanding on their part. My delivery still on plan for Feb week 1, according to them.

People!
Do not make the orders from "bitmine.ch", while not bitmine will announce OFFICIAL clarifications about the situation on the deliveries!

Forgive me for my English!

P.S. Even my letters do not respond!   Angry

Mail from today:

Quote
Hello guys,

is end of december delivery for the following order still realistic? My Order: #14XX is in position #39 of the pre-order queue, so is quite on top. The forums are going crazy and some official news (on your newspage) concerning this topic would be good. As you should know in the ASIC-Mining-Businesss the delivery date is the most important thing

Best Regards

bitmine.ch doubtful credible

I order on 31.10.2013 and the payment arrive on the 04.11.2013.
But i cancel my order on the 04.11.2013 and i got a conformation for a
refund on the 07.11.2013.-"Normally we don't accept refund request (as for our term of sales https://bitmine.ch/?page_id=1001)
But in your case, because you asked it immediately, so we accepted and your refund request is in progress."-

Until today, there was no money refund and the last reminding emails have not been answered.
My account on bitmine.ch is closed so I can not make tracking my order anymore.
Has anyone of you other similar experiences and tips for my further steps?

Hi, we know your order is #2406
you asked the refund even before we receive the bankwire, thats why we allowed your refund,

we didn't close your account on bitmine.ch, and I will check personally why you didn't receive your refund so far.

I'm sorry for the delay and for the missing in mail answers but we are really busy and under high pressure
thanks for understanding

thank you for your answer
Now i know whats going on and i feel understood.
regards

Today I got the complete refund of my payment.
This company is trustworthy and reputable.
Thank you for your efforts

Dear all,

Nobody likes to hear about late deliveries, especially in the Bitcoin mining world. While we tried to do everything we could to carefully plan the delivery terms, sometimes delays still happen in places where you have no control of them. This is the case of what happened yesterday, when we had a conference call with the supplier of the chip to follow up with the delivery schedule of the CoinCraft A1 ASIC chips, which were supposed to arrive at Bitmine's assembly plant this week. Unfortunately, the production of the silicon wafers used by our chips has been delayed by three weeks from the factory, effectively forcing us to delay the December batch orders. As of now, the January and later batches should NOT be affected by the delay because our production capability is enough to recover the delays.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay, we understand this may cause some inconveniences but rest assured that our Customer Protection Plan will give you additional mining power for free to your order once it will ship.

To cope with this event, we have updated our online FAQ to include the "Customer Protection Plan FAQ" to assist you in finding the most frequently asked question about this subject.

Thank you for your understanding, we will follow up with more information as soon as they become available!

Frequently asked questions about "Customer Protection Plan":

Q: What do I have to do if any of my orders is late and I would benefit of the free upgrades?

A: Nothing, your order will automatically be upgraded with additional hashing modules during the manufacturing process and will ship already with the additional hashing power.

Q: How can you upgrade my order if my unit is not fully populated?

A: We will upgrade the order to include additional hashing modules.

Q: How can you accomplish this if each hashing unit adds let's say 200 GH/s and I was supposed to receive only an additional 40 GH/s?

A: We will upgrade your order to the next available hashing power step regardless of the fact that you may receive more hashing power, this is free for you and part of our customer service plans, so you may well be lucky and receive more than what you were expected to receive!

Q: How can you upgrade my hashing speed if my purchased unit is already full populated with hashing modules?

A: You will receive an additional unit FOR FREE with at least the hashing power upgrade you were entitled to. Due to some logistics constraints, your additional unit will not necessarily be shipped together with your original order.

Thats even more a joke for your early clients - my ones should mine since a week now & the 10% per unit is never compensating losses.

Oook this might be a problem for me. I'll leave Switzerland at the 8 January for a few months, so please make sure I can pick mine up before then. Should be possible as you told me I'll get mine at the 17/18 December, 3 weeks later is the 7/8 January..

With 200GH/s I'll get a 400GH/s now?

Thank you for the update. Sharing information is good, of course news are not so good, but if the delay is only around three weeks and your plan to ship a bit of extra hashing powers works, Im fine. I think everyone should have been aware that delays will be more than possible.

Thats even more a joke for your early clients - my ones should mine since a week now & the 10% per unit is never compensating losses.

10% won't come nowhere near covering 50% profit loss which a 3 week delay causes.
now to mention you won't get anything for first 10 days of delay (about a 1.6btc/1500 usd drop in roi).
if they shipped a 400G unit on time, you would break even in about 12 days, with about 4.5btc/4000 usd roi
with this delay roi drops to 1000 usd, which is a massive 150% drop or profit loss of 3.3btc/3000 usd.
to fairly compensate you would need additional 60% hashing power per unit and not 10%.

and with competition shipping units on time, difficulty will get even higher, where even doubling the hashing power wouldn't cover the loss.
guess your best option is to hope for a 61 day delay and ask for a full refund.

From the Bitmine Customer protection plan
1) Shipment can be late up to a maximum of 10 days from the agreed shipment date.

2) For each subsequent 10 days of late shipping, we will add for free 10% more hashing power to your order as penalty.

3) After the 61st day of late shipment, you have the right to request a full refund and we will pay you an additional penalty of 10% of the initial order amount.

Here's my understanding...
If the shipment is delayed by 3 weeks, that is 3 x 7 = 21 days.
Clause 1 means subtract 10 => 11 days.
Clause 2 means we get 10% more hashing power.

Someone who ordered a 200 GH/s Desk unit may get 200 GH/s extra, since that is the minimum module increment.  That is 100% more hash rate.

Someone who ordered a 2 TH/s Rig unit may get 250 GH/s extra.  That is 12.5% more hash rate (in an additional unit since the original unit was full).  As a 2 TH/s customer, I hope we get a 500 GH/s Rig under the CPP, as that is the smallest Rig. Anything less is poor use of precious rack space.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

well additional unit is officially confirmed by bitmine, for those who ordered full units.

I understand that about 3000W is required for a 2TH rig, so a couple circuits would work.  The problem is, what kind of plug does it come with?  There are so many to choose from such as http://www.3cpu.org/files/garage/garage_240plug_1.jpg  or http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/attachments/f2/4486d1218244574-240v-outlet-new-tablesaw-240v_6.1.jpg .   I'd like to run a circuit but need to know what kind of plug the rig comes with so I can be prepared for when it arrives.  Does anyone know what kind of plug they come with?

and with competition shipping units on time,

Who would that be? CT announced a delay, HF is delayed, ActM is delayed, BFL of course announced its nth delay in a long string of delays yet to come. KnC was almost on time, but not quite - and this wouldnt matter anyway as they were going to ship before bitmine regardless.

Not saying a delay is a good thing, but its not like Bitmine is alone.

and also, they state:

I can understand that for export invoices, you need another invoice and you can't combine that into one shipment but does this also mean the additional units will ship later? And how will they be declared on the invoice? Value 0?
