Good analogy mate. But I don't think that the price can hit $250K at the end of the end. That's too much money to flow to the market and its not doable, not this year. We can get to that price but it will take many years and as I have said, billions to be pour from either the gold investors or coming from the Wall Street guys. Let's just put in a realistic target, let say around $40K-$60K will be a good guesstimate.

And $40-60k this year, I doubt. I don't see bitcoin being stable for a week if it breaks its all time high for last year without crashing back below $20k. But, I don't see it hitting $30k.

True, the bitcoin is constantly up and down like an hourglass. By analyzing the bitcoin candlestick charts, it is possible to lower to less than 5k, which is where altcoin can grow. I think that's possible at this moment.

Analogy was brilliant I enjoyed that, but the prediction I feel like is going to be way off. I would be happy if we reached an ATH this year (which I am pretty confident we will) and anything over 40-50k is gravy. Nice example brother! The limited supply for bitcoin makes it more volatile and as we know volatility is somehow good for economy specially in cryptocurrency because if it is stagnant then we cannot have profits.

You have to think of it in the long run. We are just in the second month of the year and there's a lot of thing that will happened that might pushed the price around $50K at the end of the year. No one has imagine that bitcoin could hit $20K last year isn't it? So let's be positive and stay optimistic that at the end of the year at least $50K is achievable.

this is a very high price and not even 10 years from now we can reach this price, as I said in the last post, we should not be very optimistic about the price, as you may have noticed, the price goes up a lot if you have good news that is not the case this year or now. how do you expect the price to rise to more than $20,000 for example without good news? is something difficult, for now we will dream of $15000 which is more realistic

If bitcoin is better than gold, so can you use bitcoin as jewelry? Can bitcoin be used as a ring?  Of course not.
Those both have different purpose so you could not say bitcoin is better than gold because only few reason above.

But on the top of that there are more users who are willing to dive into the cup of sand and grab as many grains as they could at cheaper rates. But the walls of this cup are now under high pressure and that is why we need to move some crowd towards the other cup of sand. If we do that then this cup will sustain for long period of time. If not then we will see government with wooden stick who is going to hit the wall of cup very badly to break it apart and disperse the whole sand.

Now tell me is that one the convincing analogy from my side or not. We need more space for it expand otherwise things are going to be messy soon enough.

$250k? Is that not being in a dreamer's paradise? The last time your grain was valued at $19k to $20k, it was almost unusable. Have you solved the issues that caused this?

Perhaps your parable is very true, and in your run if the sand is bought and the sand is running out, I'm sure you'll sell it more and more expensive, and so on bitcoin, the longer bitcoin in the mine the bitcoin will run out and become something very expensive if sold, maybe I think that's what you want to express.

     It is a good analogy. Bitcoin is like a cup of sand,while the sand is continuesly bought  untill it is running out the price of it become expensive because it has only one cup of sand and limited for the buyer. Bitcoin become more expensive if the demand continue to grow while the bitcoin is almost mined and limited to 21million.
     But bitcoin and gold is different in usage even they are both valuable. This two are need by the people in different ways.
