Please pass this link around to any merchant who is even considering accepting bitcoins.
It makes it SUPER easy for them to make a sign for their business.

Exactly my thoughts.  One slick poker site would work wonders.  The open source one is nice but ..

It's not a long term solution but a niche market Bitcoin is perfect for. It would bring in countless new users that are from the more general public and surely bring media attention along with it. Huge amounts of money are just sitting idle since the former big players got shot down. Once folks get into Bitcoin for one reason or another they are going to want to see what else they can use them for as well.

there are no workers that get paid in btc,
they would boost btc economy,

now "economy" consists of only merchants,
so we have to wait for the real entrepreneurs that would hire and pay people in btc
I have employees.

Yeah I personally have seen it with my own eyes.  I've had 3 friends that really didn't give a crap about bitcoin.  they had the "thats nice dear" type attitude towards me.  Once I told them that you can play texas hold em with them their ears popped up like rabbits.  Same thing happened to the computer store owner not far from here when I told him about bitcoins.  I dont play poker but people love texas hold em.  Its a very big niche.

We need compelling reasons to spend our coins. It seems everyone is selling tshirts and random knick knacks that we don't need and can probably find cheaper in a retail store. We need retailers to start selling quality products instead of drop shipping random crap from china.

Hint to those starting up poker sites: Don't put 'bit' or 'coin' in the name of the site.

You're going to have to stop bending over and taking stagnation up the butt:

B) Draw attention
-Don't be annoying, don't be a train-wreck - be entertaining. You can be ridiculous without looking like a lunatic. That dude who put the videos of himself dancing around in a costume on youtube (is he still here?) was confusing as all get up, but he wasn't an embarrassment to the community.
-If you don't have programming skills, try being a local consultant or an online entertainer (just not with crazy conspiracy political posts).
-Mass orchestrated stunts, anyone? Can ANYONE orchestrate something?

Hey how nice to have found this discussion......visit here, we are doing something for BTC economy to flourish.......

If you would mind to check the other posts on the blog, I would not mind at all.

Thanks.

I haven't made a trade in 4 days. It's futile against bots and the rich who manipulate the chart the way they want it.

The bots are just playing the technicals. There are plenty of pennies to be made just surfing the oscillating channels. The rich are educated not magical.

Nobody has been able to challenge the order at $13.50 for days. I surmise we'll have the same problem when we want to increase the price when he's ready to sell.

Obviously supply >= demand. When demand > supply, the price will increase. If bots are keeping the price low, they're only building up pressure. One can only manipulate prices for so long.

GIRL: I want to buy a pink pony for $13 ... no, actually at $13.5 ... no, wait how about the green one for $13.25 ... How does $13.10 sound? Oh look $13.30 for a golden pony ... no, I changed my mind $13.20 ...

DAD: Enough. Look I'll give you $15 cash, just pick a damn pony and let's get out of here!

StrikeSapphire Casino https://strikesapphire.com/?afc=3Ee9Kj2j2J already offers live Texas Holdem Tables. There is currently no traffic (cause you guys aren't joining) so click the link or sig banner and SIGN UP! Someone has to boot up the poker economy, it won't be people who aren't into bitcoin already.

I'd love to bet my bitcoins, but there's no one to play me except the bots in play chip mode!

Great looking site, runs smoothly on Linux. I'm on a table now. Where are you? Smiley

Maybe you should limit the number of different games until volume > 1. I vote initially for one click NL Texas only.

They preemptively banned everyone in the US for reasons which are unclear. Considering the US is currently the largest underserved market, I hope they had really good reasons.

Someone with no religious conflict needs to offer up their virginity for bitcoins. That will get some media attention.

And why not drop the whole account thing? That's the bitcoin advantage. Got address, will play. (yes, of course I live in Antigua, doesn't everyone?)
