NEO is a very good coin on its own but I do not think it has the potential to surpass ethereum so I prefer to invest in ethereum because what is the point of investing in a coin that you think is the second best? And while many are excited about ripple that is a coin in which I will never invest because of its incredibly close relationship with banks, to me ripple doesn't even qualify as a cryptocurrency.

Ripple would also be a good option knowing that it is making changes in the market recently. In fact. it managed to replace ethereum as the 2nd best crypto in the market next to Bitcoin. I think you can invest in any coin you want as long as it has a good reputation and stable chart progression. You can invest in coins that you believe, will hit the market so hard in the future. Believe in it and it will give you your desire. But, I also recommend EOS and LT since they already build up reputation in the market.
