The retweeters either don't know what they're talking about or have just sold and want the price to fall so they can get more and watch it go back up once they get more money.

Its stable at about £6000 ATM I'd say it's almost inevitable we'll climb back up to £10k soon and may even go further than that this quarter.

I think perceptin of Bitcoin is changing. I believe that the volume payment interest is moving over to alts, and Bitcoin is consolidating as a store of value. This is going to attract a whole new class of investor, and that should allow the price to rise over the course of the year. The big question is when to buy before this increase starts to become apparent.

That is how you can stop people from panic selling: you find that someone in the internet is affected by FUD and going to drop all of his coins -> you track his IP adress -> you come to his place with a basket full of kittens -> this person keeps playing with those small antidepressants and all FUD is passing thru him, his coins are still at his potentially weak hands. Repeat the same untill there will be no more "weak hands" or the FUD will stop. This is the only thing that you can do unless you are going to censure the medias.

I think we can't do anything about those who spread lies about bitcoin and crypto. They can do whatever they want, as much as we have that, our hands are all tied up. Right now the market moves into another bearish trend so it looks like those FUD'ers are working really hard to put the market down.

However, bitcoin is very resilient from such attacks. We may be down again, but we are not completely out. There will be a time that all those detractors will be quiet when bitcoin started another bull run.

And remember those person that really spread FUD are the same people who are buying at those dips. They want to pull back the price so that they can get in and buy at a discount. How ironic.

In terms of adoption by the masses FUD is not a real concern as they do not know "enough" about bitcoin for the FUD to affect them. They are at an earlier stage eg I was in hospital over the weekend and said to the nurse i was a bitcoin fan.

My answers to that not being real is to point out their bank accts and electronic wage payment to it each week are not really real either but they accept that as normal. To the issue of being too expensive I say that the word bitcoin should be seen for some meanings as word like "sterling" ie it describes a currency - you cannot buy 1 sterling but you can buy 1 pound. it's not an ideal comparison but it helps

There are lots of internet marketers are doing this they are promoting fake news and spread FUD on twitter and facebook and even in any blogs just to convince other people to sell their bitcoin to push the price low and they will enter and buy low price of bitcoin and hold for a long time to get benefited in the future..

They are just helping spreading about bitcoin but in the bad ways. .

People making these predictions are just being logical. They are looking at the fundamentals of bitcoin and seeing major problems. They are looking at the chart and seeing a CLEAR picture of a bubble that has burst and is currently collapsing. If you start a "campaign" to get people to make poor and irrational financial decisions such as investing in bitcoin, then you are most likely going to cause harm to anyone who listens to you.

It isn't a good buy at the moment. What isn't clear is why attention hasn't switched to some promising alts which don't have bitcoin's problems. I'm guessing it's because the alts don't have a media presence.

This systems is going to play out for a very long time and the FUD is what separate the wise traders and investors from the weak and inexperienced trader. The games are buying low are sell high and repeat it again to make more profit. One thing that we should know is that bitcoin and other trading instruments cannot continue to go up and it  cannot continues to go down and what brings it down and up is the FUD and rumors and news!

It's futile. If people are spreading FUD for the hell of it, which is basically what you described, then there's really no way you can stop them. Small time FUDers that are bearish without reason barely affect anything anyway. FUD is most effective when used to spread confusion about real life events, such as the initial China ICO ban.

The best thing you can do is to call out sensationalized headlines so that normal people aren't victimized. Fake news has encroached into crypto territory after all.

People saying price will fall to x amount isn't really FUD. It's just an expression of opinion. FUD would be when people announce that countries will ban cryptocurrencies or that sites have been hacked etc when none of these things are true.

It's our responsibility to be wise to what is truth and what is not and always verify news at source. It's also our responsibility to teach people who are newer to crypto about the FUD they may experience and how to handle this.

Your correct mate. Have been seeing new currencies in the market cap that are climbing to top 100 like U.CASH. I think this coins are stable of rising during the bloodbath recently. FUD's are used by other investors to choose other currencies because of the recent cheap price of bitcoin.

There is not a need to do anything if they want to crash the price then take advantage of it, if life gives you lemons then make lemonade, if the price goes down then buy bitcoin, you are not going to see too much profits in the short term but you will see them in the long term and that is what matters, and if they fail and the price goes up you benefit since your profits go up so no matter what happens you win.
