What happened:
User AtomicProject, being moderating the Atomic coin (ATOM) thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1712672), announced a "hardfork by coin swap" at the beginning of December, 2017. This coin swap should be handled by moving coins to a ATOM web-wallet (https://atomchain.info/) until January, 01 of 2018, and ATOM withdrawal from web-wallet was disabled since beginning of December, 2017.

I deposit my ATOMs to the web-wallet and had noticed that they are gone to another addresses. "Cold storage", I thought. Yeeeeagh, cold storage...
In the first dates of January, 2018 user AtomicProject wrote that coin swap will be extended till 10th of January, 2018. There was some critical posts in thread about it, but it was deleted very fast. Most of posters were outraged by shifting the final hardfork date and by the fact that web wallet withdrawals is still disabled. Unfortunately, I have no screenshots of that.
Then 10th of January came, and date was arranged once again - to the 01th of February, 2018. A lot of angry user posts in ATOM thread were deleted again.
Then in the middle of January, 2018 there was a big pump of ATOM coin, which, I believe, was a main goal of "coin swap" declared by AtomicProject.
People in thread were unhappy because of inability to use their coins during price increase. Messages were deleted.
Then, at last, a February has come, and guess what? Web wallet users can not log into their accounts because of passwords mismatched. Few questions in the ATOM thread were deleted, and then almost all messages after 07 December 2017 were deleted, and then all ATOM thread was closed - no new replies can be left, no info on project, nothing.
I wrote messages on support e-mails and got no answer, so no PM or chat logs present.
Here is another man with the same emotions: https://thebitcointalk.net/index.php?topic=1625302.msg29786220#msg29786220

Well, I did not see any info about it. But if so, why his account is still active? I believe moderators should block it.

I believe I cannot mark anyone on this forum =) But I will ask moderators about it.
EDIT: Oh, my bad, I found a "trust" link in user's profile.

Is your wallet web or local? If it's web wallet, there is almost no chance that scammer will return your coins.

I think there is no chance. The web wallet is closed already - this means scammer reached his goals.

Very good documentation! There should be more about the history of Atomic Coin: How did the team disappear, who is Putincoin and why do Bitcointalk let him scam so hard?

No, it's not atomic coin, it's just one scammer.

I don't know much about history of team. User AtomicProject (I believe you mean him when say "who is Putincoin") started new thread in [ANN] and kept it live for some time, and then Dec2017 happened.

I asked moderator (mprep) why can't he punish scammer, but he refers to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0:

Quote
Q: Why haven't you banned <insert scammer username here> who is an obvious scammer?
A: Possible (or real, not for me to decide) scams are not moderated to prevent moderator abuse. If we start picking out which ones we call "scammers" and ban, we would make a lot of decisions based on biased opinions.

Seems legit, but it means we as community should report about scam actions ourselves. There is a "trust" tool for this, and I wonder, why no one use it for reporting AtomicProject's scam before.

Lost 4012 EUR
After more than one year using it, I've lost 4012 EUR after they introduced an IBAN that don't work. Even with SWIFT confirmation they couldn't tell what the problem was and insisted they don't have the money.
It sucks!
