The total cost for Jupiter with one year hosting is around 11k.

My order number is 49XX and it was promised to deliver before Oct 15th.

I am willing to sell this order for 13k-14k USD.

Or for that price you could get 2TH miner. Or 2 new Jupiters.

Professional hosting and electricity aren't free.

My order come with knc one year hosting service. And they will bring it online the day they "ship" my order.

Shipping alone takes an average of of a week depending on where you are and some countries charge 15-20% custom duties. So those are the fee one do not have to pay. And one week of mining is close to 1k-1.5k based on the projected network difficulty.

The hosting service also deal with any unexpected issue with "repair" and come with a power supply. I am assuming they have redundancy power and network, something isn't cheap when you have to do it alone at home. And you also have the right to join their in house mining pool (only 1.5%). So the cost and benefit of those service (around 4k per year) remove the risk and and responsibility of  the miner.

The 1st month of mining will return 1/2 to 1/3 of your cost if they deliver on time. And the next patch of order (starting November 15th) will have the projected network difficulty so high that 2k discount may not justify the cost. I also expect one will be able to sell the unit for $500-1.5k at the end of the hosting as some people will no doubt try to exploit their free use of electricity at their work place.

How the profitable calculation works is ultimately depend on your location (custom duty, electricity, internet, maintenance, repair and skill set required to perform the tasks I mention).

The reserve on this auction is far too high.  in case you come to your senses, and decide to accept reasonable bids, I bid 6500 USD.

I paid $10950 for Jupiter and their one year hosting, and I am willing to accept buyout offer of $13000.

How is that unreasonable?

Also like to add that KNC will still accept refund on their order. So, at minimum, I can get at least $10950 for my order. There is no reason why I would sell it for less than this price.

If I were you, and had that option, I would do that.  A mid October delivery is unlikely to make more than between 40-50BTC from mining, so my offer of 6500 stands.

Why are you trying to sell a "clear" money maker anyhow, if it's going to break itself even within a month or two?

If anyone interested in the Miner and not hosting, let me know. I will ask for a refund for the hosting part if anyone only want the miner.

Buyout price for Jupiter is 8k.

Since the OP did not put an expiring date on his auction I am putting an expiry date on my bid.  My offer of 6500 USD for the rig and the 1 year hosting will expire at midnight (23:59 UTC) on 11 Sep 2013.  This is one week from the original advertisement which I think is fair.  This is to prevent an attack whereby the seller mines on the rig and then middle of next year demands I pay him 6500 USD for a worthless item.

Cheers,

Will

If you refund the hosting, are you going to tell KNC where to ship it (to the winning buyer's locale), thus avoiding any issue with KNC having to change address.
