I believe I found the solution, so far so good:

Cannot run MSI Afterburner and must run a separate instance for each device ( -d 0 for one batch -d 1 for next gpu etc...)

Please advise if there is another or better way to run without crash. I would like to run all cards as a single batch.

EDIT: I spoke too soon still got a crash....please help?

Hi, will you implement an API ? I'll be happy to add your miner to my future monitoring app Wink

Not in next version, but likely later - we are just at the start of what this miner could be Smiley

Could it be this one here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2718841/0xc0000005-error-message-and-windows-explorer-stops-responding-on-a-co

I hope this is fixed with new version since it has much better thread handling (in particular on the stratum side of code)

Check out lolMiner 1.56, an efficient miner for Ethash, Beam and many Cuckoo-Cycle and Equihash variants for AMD & Nvidia cards at low fees.

@ALL:
Important Announcement (In particular for the early adopters of lolMiner):

I grabbed all the messages of this forum thread / private messages and telegram messages from the first two weeks and finally came up with an excel sheet of names and contributions to the lolMiner success.
As promised: 50% of the first month income will be for you - to get the exact amount we will have to wait till Monday (should rename it to Moneyday ^^), but here are the names of those who are eligible to claim their fraction of the fee:

my name is not on any list but I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work! Grin

Have to email for the hotfix, I will run updates, these PC's that are doing this are just miner bases so very few updates have been done, seems to be more of an issue with rigs that have 1080ti's. I'll run updates and see if that works ( probably 2 hours before I let you know LOL )

Also, any command to pick up devices automatically? What I mean is some rigs have 2 gpus and some have 3, I run a miner controller software that runs as a network command, seems to have a problem if I -d 0,1,2 and there are actually only 2 devices. Not a big deal was just wondering, I can always make separate templates for rigs w/2 vs rigs w/ 3
 Thanks and Nice work!!

Oh...another very strange thing...when miner is launched through controller on 1080ti rigs I lose almost 25% of my hashrate, so weird...I have tried different settings from within the controller dashboard and it strangely does not affect gpus other than 1080ti...

Also can you add option, for amd cards, so that miner is closed automatically when one of the cards lose hashrate (0 Sol/s), in case you cannot fix this problem?

never heard about this coin
but now I will read the tread and check it out
so you say that for gtx 1080 the hashrate is about 13k sols? so if I have gtx1080ti it would about 17-18k sols? right?
have you tested it?

It's different algo from zec, zen and other coins using equihash so this Sol/s is not comparable to those hashrates you get for mining zec for example.
And yes, I'm getting around 16KSol/s for 1080gtx, with extreme oc.

I have tested the miner, it seem to work great but I have some very strange numbers
I got gtx 1070 and miner shows about 7530 sols/s 0-that seems ok
I got gtx 1070ti and miner shows about 15300 sols/s = that seems really odd
and on gtx 1080ti miner shows about 14000 sols/s - that seem odd as well
why I have high hashrate for 1070ti and so low for 1080ti?

I too have a VERY strange observation:

If I am logged in to my miners via Anydesk my hashrate is much higher than if I am not!!

LOL, wtf is that about, anyone already figure this out, I remembered seeing some mentions of Teamviewer earlier in the threads?

Anyhow 14k vs 20k on a 1080ti ........just wild

Also some crashing still on a few machines, running a restart script now to help but.....ehh

If your name is on the list, what to do?

Create a new mnx address and send it to me in a private message, either here or in telegram (if you decide to do in telegram but are here in bitcointalk list do not forget your nickname). Please do so before Friday, March 16th. 12:00 UTC

I think my name is missing...
You contributed with sol/s report, virus check or bug report in the first to weeks (before Feb 27)? Well then also send me a private message with link to the post and I will add you if I have overseen the contribution.

And how much will  be payed out?
I can not say jet precisely. Currently we are at about 45 MNX to be payed, but with next half week still counting this will be approx 55 to 60 in total. Also as said some posts before: unclaimed shares will be split: 50% go to the faucet and other 50% go to people who gave me an address to send to.  From the splitting: 15% go to people sharing hash-rates, 4% for virus checks, 37 for bug reports (in two categories depending on details), 15% bug confirmations, 15% for providing fixes and solutions for users,  10% private testing and 4% for misc contributions.

From the numbers I have till now is that least payed value will be at approx 0.35 mnx and max between 4 and 5 mnx.  I hope you agree that I keep the exact amount of each one in the list closed, but every one will get a private message reply to the msg with the address where I give the transaction.

So, thats it for the moment, looking forward completing v0.3 Smiley

------------
Current stats:
Hash-Rate of all lolMiners out there: 49.8 Msol
Market share: 52,5 %  Grin

You are amazing guys, thanks for that support!
great! i have use this miner and get 850kH/s at own mini mining farm. lol should have a lot of MNX! Everyone expect!  Grin Grin Grin

So any thoughts on why using Anydesk or Teamviewer might increase hashrate significantly???

Evidently others in different coin threads and miners have noticed this too , however I am using Nvidia , this particular topic is about AMD

Try setting the --set-work-batch setting to 8 or higher. It has worked for me and a few others. Some have reported no change though so YMMV.

Helped even things out across 3 gpus, but they are smaller gpus, 1050+ 2x 980's. And hash was still less than havy Anydesk connected.

Did not help on 1080ti's made things worse.

I have played with a ton of settings, I really cannot figure what it is that Anydesk would be invoking that would cause this.

I even added the exe file to my Nvidia control panel as a controlled program with maximum performance settings.

I'll keep at it but I'll try any other suggestions out there.... I run multiple rigs and it is not feasible for me to keep an anydesk window open for each, however the difference in hashrate makes it significant

From what others have explained, it has something to do with Windows reducing the gpu and cpu performance when it detects that there's no display being used. Someone has also suggested playing a long youtube video and putting it on replay to trick Windows.

I also read someone with multiple rigs basically having a teamviewer session from one rig to the other and vice versa, you could try that.

Tested my rx460 and from 2500sol in versions before, now i get 4100sol. Nice improvement. Optiminer gives 4500, so it’s close! Good work on tje stability!

sound little crazy, but this helped
before my 6 x gtx1070 card were doing 8500-9000 sol/s and now I just turned on some video from background on the rig and hashrate became 13000-14000 sol
that is just crazy  Cool

Hi, you just played some video, or turned something on video card?

I've changed priority on lolminer.exe process to high, and i have only 12k

P.S. nevermind ... i understand now
