ViaBtc accelerator does work and I have used it two days ago, It's simply that a lot of people are sending their transactions and there is an hourly limit so you need to be fast.
I've tried @least 100 times. It doesn't work!

Currently transactions with a tad under 140 satoshi/byte have been confirmed. See https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/ for a graphical representation. But if you are unlucky and have an urgent transaction, there is no need to use the expensive or unreliable transaction accelerators, because Mycelium has its own transaction accelerator built-in. It uses the change of the original transaction with CPFP (Child Pays For Parent). - Go to the TRANSACTIONS tab,
- tap to select the problem transaction, most likely the topmost one,
- tap the menu button or the three dots/squares in the top right,
- and tap the "Bump Fee (CPFP)" command.
Mycelium is better than most people think it is. I don't have a bump fee option in the transaction menu, but that must be because the transaction has confirmed already. So next time I'll know about bump fee. I'm really glad I asked. CPFP is a great feature.

I sent 1.25 btc from Mycelium at 2017-12-07 03:02:17 (utc) 135 sat/byte It's been more than an hour now, and 0 confirmations. I used the default fee. Was that too low? Checking https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/blocks/1, I see blocks are coming more slowly. 498024 took more than half an hour, and the two before it were a little slow too. What's up with that? And I still have no confirms. Please wait for a couple of minutes or hours. Seems like there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions. If you can't wait then you can use free transaction accelerator like viabtc. Might be helpful if Mycelium added SegWit address support.

WARNING: doing this increases the potential of exposing your Ledger seed... you should seriously consider moving all your coins and then resetting the Ledger to create a new seed if you do this. You'd need to use something like https://iancoleman.io/bip39/Download a copy of it... and run it on an "offline" computer... preferably using a "live" CD/USB with networking disabled etc... The reason for this is that you need to put your Ledger seed into the BIP39 Mnemonic Code Converter this time... not just the xpub... you need the seed so you can generate your addresses AND the matching private keys. 24 word seed goes into the "BIP39 Mnemonic", click "BIP44" tab... it SHOULD show the correct addresses (and matching private keys) at the bottom. If you don't see the 1DHkYjsRSPC6aWgfVcWcxbgyyVmzUv33Y8 address, you'll need to play with the Derivation Paths to see if you can find it... maybe try clicking the BIP32 tab... select "Custom Derivation Path" and set it to m/49'/0'/0' and see if it displays there... Still no joy. Think it may be time to give up thanks for you help

MyCelium doesn't care where you send bitcoin to. So, it's not a mycelium issue since you were able to send to any address you specified. Also, SegWit has nothing to do with it since you sent to an address that starts with a 1. So, it's not an issue with SegWit either. Checking 1DHkYjsRSPC6aWgfVcWcxbgyyVmzUv33Y8, I can see the funds are there. Still no joy. Think it may be time to give up thanks for you help Before you give up, send me the seed and I will find it and give you the funds / private key. Just want to clear up something. Since ledger is default segwit, you would have had to add legacy. Are you sure the address was from ledger? Could it have been from mycelium? Meaning, are you looking at the wrong seed (24 from ledger) instead of a 12 word seed from mycelium? The reason I ask is because the funds were moved FROM a SegWit address to a Legacy address. (You moved from the Ledger to MyCelium even though your post says the reverse). (or moved from ledger to ledger). It could NOT have moved from MyCelium. You're welcome to PM me.

There's now an alt exchange in wallet though it doesn't seem to be fully operational yet.
Anyone know who's providing it? Shapeshift runs inside Coinomi. It never seems to work very well.
This is a good way to monetise. Far less offensive than some creepy alt ICO and much more beneficial to users too.

They are using Changelly since you mentioned Coinomi, It could make sense why Shapeshift is not working properly for them because they are partners with Changelly so they may be focusing their efforts there. If you check Exodus wallet you will see how smooth ShapeShift is, I find it better personally.

So Mycelium is Changelly? Your sentence was a little unclear. I had a fiddle with Shapeshift inside Coinomi. It wouldn't let me do anything. There seem to be more than a few complaints about Changelly out there, but I'm sure every service has them. I wonder whether you're going to need to create an account with them.

Mycelium is not changelly no and you don't have to create any account, that's why they are easy to integrate in wallets in the first place.

Mycelium really need a tool to show the PK instead of only using the seeds... then we no need to use any insecure tools on github to do it off-line.

That only shows the "Master Private Key" aka "xprv"... you still need a way to generate the addresses and individual private keys from that... I believe that guys wants Mycelium to give out the individual WIF format private key for a given address...

Okay, I guess there's no button for that in Mycelium. But Electrum has that feature. You could generate the HD wallet in Electrum from your Mycelium seed. When entering the seed, select the bip39 seed option and electrum will generate the same HD wallet, with all the same addresses and unspent outputs as in the Mycelium wallet. Right click the address in question and it will show you the WIF private key. If you want to do it the hard way, you can use a tool like this https://iancoleman.io/bip39

Mycelium is the worst wallet ever, I sent low priority transfers and they never confirmed so I cancelled them, then my balance dissapeared, again appeared and I only have 3$ now, and it wont sync back for 2 days, so they scammed me for money. Going to fill report.

You haven't been scammed for anything. Just enter the Mycelium seed in another wallet and everything will reappear like magic. At the very worst it's displaying you the wrong information. A Mycelium seed will work in Coinomi and many others.
