Hmmm, I heard about that. Wasn't that project stuck because of financial stuff?

From the Trezor thread:
BitcoinCard (Mycelium) never took preorders, and never will. The delay reasons are "still looking for hardware advanced enough to fulfill our vision" rather than "had trouble with cases." What Mycelium is making is way more complex, but there is finally a finish line in sight... [...]

I also recall a post from Jan, saying something to that effect. Can't find it right now though.
With a little luck we may be able to show two very interesting hardware devices at the Vienna conference: http://cebexpo.net/
And let me add "Not making preorders doean't mean that we are not working on itGrin

Not yet. We have the world map with all ads here: http://www.mycelium.com/lt/m
...and the raw data here: http://www.mycelium.com/lt/m/data/ads.xml

We are still improving and adding stuff. Expect an update next week.

Another thing I can't believe I missed; why isn't there a sendmany type option to include multiple outputs?
We are very keen on keeping the UI simple while being rich on features. This means making many tough choices. Sendmany is IMO a feature you would rarily use on a mobile wallet, actually you are the first one asking for it.

I think it's funny I'm the first. Maybe you could use expert mode to add features like these so normal users don't need it. Can't it just be in the send menu? I think a good spot for it would just be a little plus sign on the screen you input the amount on, somewhere around the send button.

+1!!

When I use Mycelium to spend from cold storage I want the change to flow to a new address. New change addresses enhance privacy, and allow me to not worry about malware on my phone stealing the key to my cold storage (I only load the private key when I'm about to spend from cold storage). Alternatively, I could simply add a second output when I spend from cold storage. That would probably be the safest option, and I like RGBKey's UI suggestion.

Perhaps HD wallets will be just what I need, but perhaps not. I like using a small number of unrelated addresses.

In any case, thank you for a fantastic app! I happily recommend Mycelium to others.

Don't you think this shouldn't be public http://mycelium.com/lt/m/data/ads.xml
I mean users should be able to see only their nearby traders.

Why not? Its published for others to see, so its public by definition.

Probably because I do not wanted to show everyone my nearest longitude and latitude data except local traders who are in my city.

Your trader account is just a name and a bitcoin address, which has a number of ads associated with it. The ads have a geographical location associated with them, but as you can enter any location nobody really knows whether you have ever been there, let alone who you really are.

In the same way other traders can enter any location to search from without ever having visited that area. So in the end the data can be retrieved anyway, and by making it available in one easy query we believe that we make that more transparent.

Alright, I've made an ad long time ago so didn't checked location change option. Will check it now, thanks.

First of all, a massive thanks for a great app! Great appS!

I saw this:
https://github.com/Yubico/yubico-bitcoin-java

Yubico-bitcoin-java-android allows using a Yubikey as a Bitcoin wallet via NFC and a Yubikey Neo. I guess this would be better off as a separate project in which case this is offtopic... but there is currently no interface for it.

Possibly offtopic if you feel this is not a good idea to have this in the advanced section of Mycelium... but this really seemed like the best place to mention it.

interesting project. do you have any technical background info on how that "applet" works? do you somehow upload a BIP32 implementation to the yubikey? i don't understand it fully yet.

Yes. You have to upload the Bitcoin applet to a spare Yubikey applet slot. It's similar to how you use the Yubikey with the GPG applet I believe. What I don't know is how exactly you interact with the Yubikey once it's installed. AFAIK you can't have PGP, the normal Yubikey stuff AND Btcoin applet at the same time since there are only 2 slots... on a Neo anyway... I think.

I think at the moment you need to be a programmer to interact with it:
http://opensource.yubico.com/yubico-bitcoin-java/apidocs/com/yubico/bitcoin/api/YkneoBitcoin.html

To be perfectly honest I'm a non programmer in the main and I'm just hoping to bring some attention to it. That code would be a great addition either to Myceilium or as a standalone app.

If anyone's reading this and has a Gox key, Gox kindly locked the keys so you need to crack the pin to do something like this. I bet all the pins are the same so hopefully someone can crack it and share... and probably legally so since the company is no more (bankruptcy email out today)

We have the world map with all ads here: http://www.mycelium.com/lt/m

It took me a little bit to figure out the difference between the "green" colored (Bitcoin logo) map markers and the normal "gold" colored (Bitcoin logo) map markers.  After looking at the ads I noticed that the Buy ads are green, the sell ads are gold.

Is there a way to get a map legend displayed to explain the two different marker types?

Good idea, also, I'd like to have the ability to select which ad types to display, adding it to the list

Hi Jan,
yes, usually it is closed on Saturdays.
Except if someone wants to do a private party there (birthdays etc.).

I can't announce for now - but the owners of the Bar could MAYBE decide short termed,
based on tonights reactions and the answers of the cebexpo PR person that we're in contact with,
that they will open up tomorrow, too.
I will keep you up to date as soon as a decision is made.

I've also met Andreas a few weeks ago at the Metalab and sent him a PM about tonights "event",
but I guess he is very busy at the moment.

Using Mycelium on a Blackberry Q5 and when I try to do a backup, it creates the PDF file, but when I try and attach it to an email (The only way sharing happens), it isn't attached and I can't find it.

Does anyone know where to find the pdf file it creates?
