Hi guys!
I’ll tell you what I think.
I'm feeling anxious about MEW security.
If we change some characters of Mew prative key, we will get to anather wallet.
Exampe:
Prative key wallet 1: a1e57f1422ae77c1c51f1626d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

Prative key wallet 2: a1e57f1422de77c1c51f1623d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

After i change characters on wallet 1 a = d & 6 = 3, i get wallet 2.

Question is, can MEW be hacked easily? This can be dangerous for investors.
And why MyEtherWallet not connect to 2FA? This is a good measure to protect our wallet.
Guys, What do you think about this?

I'll tell you so. The chance to guess the private key from your wallet, which consists of 64 characters is not real. I do not know who should be and what needs to be done to break your wallet. The probability is 0. Only the website itself can be hacked, or you will inadvertently go to a phishing site. The safety of your wallet depends only on your actions.

Yes, and nobody is safe against cyber attacks or safe against hacking. Even how secured your wallet is, it can be breach if and only if you are not so careful enough of your account information.

No doubt your wallet can be hacked, just for one reason. Due to your lack of commitment, it is not possible to hack MEW otherwise. Only by counting on your carelessly can get your access keys.

It is possible.Nothing is safe in the internet and even the files of the government can be hacked. So you better be careful to hide your private keys always in a safe place.Or if I were you,you must have to make a duplicate on private keys just to be sure. And lastly, never visit a questionable  link or phishing site that requires ether address and private keys.

As far as I know, MyEtherWallet doesn't store the private keys. So if your wallet gets hacked and the coins and tokens are stolen, then it may be due to a trojan or keylogger in your system. Till now, I haven't heard any reports about MyEtherWallet getting hacked.

Good security system though there must be a gap, it's just where the gap still needs a process to find. For MEW itself, we should not rely on website security sisters, from both parties of the provider and the customer must play a role in protecting the assets therein.

Well, no one is safe nowadays. Use Trezor or Ledger. This will give you some confidence. I saw that some people share different coins for different purses. If some one is hacked, another will be left with tokens. Thieves and hackers will always be. And it's right that you are afraid.

It can be hacked especially if one is careless with the private keys or is not vigilant enough to notice phishing site.

The technology for the cryptowallet i think is unhackable. There are just close to infinite combinations to unlock the private key. I think the possibility of hacking of the wallet might be on the person who my disclose his wallet information

maybe. That was my thought. Nothing is absolutely safe. However, I have not encountered any MEW hacking cases. So far it is very safe

the possibility of hacking through a private key is very small, difficult as it seems, but to hack their MEW using phishing. so be careful when you're on the web who ordered enter private key

Just don't give your private key to any airdrop, because private key is a 64 characters and that is so hard to predict/hack our own private key, just save it in a secured file or in some flashdrive. I encountered some of hackers and phishing all i receive in airdrops and that is so cruel.

First of all you should never use MyEtherWallet online. You should get some Linux live DVD and then download the site so you can access the site offline. Then open "index.html"  in your browser and create your private keys there. Using one private key per file is annoying but the most secure method. You can save these private key files in some encrypted file somewhere (remember that anything done in a live DVD is just done on the ram). Use Tails OS DVD to do that (disconnect internet before private key creation).

In this way your private keys are safe because they never saw the internet. To check the funds just use any eth blockchain explorer.

Your observation is correct but i think it will really take time and chance for any one the guess and correctly too with that method. But MEW need to do something on the error you noticed, even email confirmation will be just alright than to leave the wallet naked .

There is nothing the most in this world, everything created by humans will never be perfect because there will be a way to steal whatever we think is safe, the best thing to do is to divide the balance into several MEW so that if there is a hacked account then we still any other.

As others have said, its incredibly unlikely (as in would take millions of years if not more) to crack individual wallets. Well MyEtherWallet itself can be hacked since it's a website. Even if the site isn't directly hacked you could be victim of phishing or other attacks.

in fact, there are many cases that some people lose their assets in myetherwallet, get scam sites, hack, phishing, or so, so the safest thing is to keep an eye on yourself and make a strong anti mallware on the computer you use, protect it your personal data

I don't think MEW can be easily hacked as you think, the only common and easiest way I know is if you use the wrong page, like my mentor will say that I must be careful to make sure the page is locked and also be careful of my private key and other essentials. But apart from this I think you are in safe hands.
