What type of writing are you looking to do?  It's possible in that, I and/or others may pay you YAC's if it's beneficial to YACoin.     

I'm willing to do that. I have a blog, I could share links. I could make a video for the coin on YouTube, I could do whatever.

This is essentially what I do for a living - create websites and content, and execute search and social media marketing campaigns for those websites - currently in-house for a manufacturing and retail company. Been in the industry around 7 years professionally, longer if you count the dabbling that got me there in the first place.

I have some crypto-related domains, and now that I have more time, am keen to get a site going on one of them. It will be a general cryptocurrency news and views blog for now, but there are other ideas I would like to bring to fruition in the future.

I don't really have many YAC as I was late to the party CPU mining, didn't jump on the cloud mining early enough, sold a heap to cover mining costs, and didn't scoop any on BTER when they were super cheap (though in hindsight I should have done!  ). I am obviously pretty familiar with the YAC story, ran one of the consistent P2Pool servers early on, experimented with the explorer (before Sairon beat me to it), etc. I wish I was more able to be involved in core development, but I'm better off helping where my real strengths lay.

If you guys are interested, we could work together to get the message we'd all like to see about YAC out there.

Hell yeah!

This is exactly what YAC is missing at the moment. We already have good devs and a good crypto, but we lack community building and attention. With this YAC could soon be at a marcetcap where it should be, the current MC is still a fraction of what it should be if you compare it with altcoins like NVC,PPC,... with far worse properties but far bigger communities.

The current fund here is far too small to actually pay people for doing anything, it's meant as reward not as payment. On the other hand someone investing now in a excellent crypto without community and turning it into a excellent crypto with community will also turn his spare change into a fortune... if you know what I mean.

I think we should focus on miners and attract new people to mine YAC.

YAC is one of the most profitable cryptos to mine at the moment, but that's a message that isn't out yet. Sairon build a calculator for profitability, but it ain't a beauty and invisible for anyone outside YAC. It's also hard to use so a homepage that grabs the data and turns it into something more atractive would be a good start.

I definitely agree and I think that this message needs to be the central point of the marketing efforts, at least at this stage. Furthermore, I have some marketing ideas on how we can position YAC as a proper alt coin. If you PM me we can get the conversation going and see what you think of my ideas
