I got my first ever bitcoins from a faucet, it was in October 2011 and I got 0.005 BTC.

If I've said anything amusing and/or informative and you're feeling generous:

Got around 2.5BTC at the same time on different surveys for BTC sites and faucets in two weeks time.

Was a lot better than other swagbux, earn $$ sites.

0.00005000 BTC, It is wasting my time unless I have found a suitable way to deal with the small amount.

I personally recommend to use USB eruptor to finish some steps.

I've earnt something like 10 mBTC, and it took me 2 weeks (only doing faucets, I didn't know of any other means by this time). In my opinion it's definitely not worth it

It seems you tried the bad faucet. DailyBitcoins.org has for example 0.00001 hourly price, and submiting captcha will take you 1-2 minutes  Wink

Best post on this thread!   Smiley

You won't get rich from free BTC sites - they are not a substitute for regular income.

Treat them as a hobby and and enjoy yourself.  The coins should be a bonus.

I have 0.03 in my main BTC wallet, and I have probably spent ~0.02 on ads and the like. All of that are made from PTC websites, offer websites (Like ABitBack) and faucets.

Having ground out a little "faucetfoo", my experience is that it often feels like trivial work for very trivial pay, but by Jove! it's "free money" after all.

Every 1000 satoshi here or 4000 satoshi there that you grind out will eventually add up (minus transaction fees Tongue ), especially if the bitcoin exchange rate advances to something like 10k satoshi per 1 USD*.

* It doesn't sound as out of this world if you express it that way, rather than as 10k USD per 1 BTC. Smiley
