I thought some of you guys may enjoy this cool little browser game I made. I tried to make it feel more like a game than other war games (level loading, high-scores etc), but it's still in a beta phase and could be a lot better (ideas are appreciated). I also designed it so each time you start a new game most of the level passwords will change. This is basically aimed at programmers/hackers so don't expect to find it fun if you don't like mental challenges that require logic and technical skills. Some of the levels are a little repetitive so I appreciate good puzzle ideas. http://aidse.co.cc/

Yeah, did it all myself, mainly to practice my PHP and JavaScript skills. I recently did a JS and PHP course so it was a good project which required heavy use of both languages.

I feel like it's still a little bit bland though. I might make another mode of play where it's more like missions with simple back stories and more unique puzzles. The levels available now really just test all the important skills.

Am I right if i say the passwords for each level sum up to a hash? Which might be needed to solve level 5?

I spent like 3min of my time trying to modify the JS in Chrome but it wouldn't save. ;P

The answer for level 5 has nothing to do with JavaScript. Look else where.

There are 10 levels all up.

I wish I had thought of something like that. If I get around to making it, the "story mode" will hopefully be a lot more interesting. The levels you are playing now will probably be "training mode".

If not, should base off of the current time (changing every 15 seconds).

90% of the answers are generated dynamically. If you start a new game then the answers will change (so will your game ID). The answers are generated using your current game ID, the level number, your IP address and a secret security string that doesn't change.

Stuck on L5 also. I'm hoping it's just me being blind to the obvious because the difficulty was scaling quite nicely on 1-4 but compared to the time I've spent on 5 they were trivial...

Once you locate the GIF you will find that it is corrupt. You need to download the corrupt GIF file. I'll leave out the last step even though it should be fairly obvious.
