the decentralized exchange available today is still far from my expectations. see idex, etherdelta, wavesdex and others. they have not been able to satisfy its users, perhaps the future will be born decentralized exchange that can provide solutions and can satisfy its users.

That‘s exactly the reason why I am looking for competitors. Waves is hyped for so long, built a product and I like it. But it‘s not user-friendly and I don‘t see advantages to use waves dex. Anyway, the team wants to improve their services so I try and observe their development.

Yesterday I heard about Bitfinex to build a dex (EOSfinex) which sounds very interesting to me and because of Bitfinex‘s popularity I imagine that the exchange could kill etherdelta for example very fast.

binance and IDEX i love them two

Never knew Binance was a decentralized exchange (is it actually?). IDEX is also on point for me. Etherdelta has been inconsistent lately. They would not earn my pass as I suspect something fishy is happening over there  Lips sealed

I'm looking at RadarRelay and IDEX. IDEX actually exceeded my expectations concerning it when I used it for the first time yesterday. I love its UI (it's like centralized exchanges) and its ease of transactions.

Maybe check back on the CoinMetro exchange in a couple of months, ICO is currently running and it looks likely to be swift off the starting line. They're aiming to make it an easily intelligible user friendly experience, and as we can gather from the success of Coinbase, this is a massive selling point for many.

Heres an article I wrote about part of it (I'll cover the potential of their DEX overall at a later date)
https://steemit.com/coinmetro/@blackjam/coinmetro-s-killer-feature-life-support-for-the-future-of-ico-s

And heres a link to signup, through which you'll get a 2.5% bonus (Disclaimer: as will I)

i think bitboost is interesting. seems like its a motivated, hard-working, small team. the beta is already up and the full release comes soon. they are from switzerland so they have way more options for privacy (which is a big focus for them) and most crypto investors love privacy. they are also extremely cheap still, i think its definitely worth to own a few of bitboost. they are only on 2 smaller exchanges so far (etherdelta and yobit) with low volume.

the challenge is how many people will use it, but i guess this goes for all DEX... with coming crypto regulations, like even in europe people will require to give their ID on coin2coin transactions, they might receive a huge boost.

I think NEX will be the game changer. I totally believe in Neo tokens and Neo dapps, they all serving a specific purpose and they work in combination. We all know that Chinese and East Asian people believe in Neo so Nex exchange will be a very strong one after its released.

Its Initial coin offering has not started yet, once it hits the market I think it will be the strongest one to win the race

You should check out CryptoBridge .
It's a really nice decentralied exchange, and also they even have their own coin Bridge which gives you a portion of the trading fees made each day.

in recent times the idex is very popular. very easy to use, nice design, more variety of coin. there are not many options when etherdelta is already off.
people want their exchanges to be reassuring, not that they are constantly having problems Smiley

Considering decentralized exchanges, you’re essentially exchanging IOUs with other traders until you wish to withdraw your funds.Trading cryptocurrencies can, at times, feel fraught with risks. The looming threat of losing all of your investment dollars aside, exchange security is often a topic of concern. And for me,i agree with IDEX,which is another  Ethereum powered exchange that offers pretty much every ERC20 token imaginable, funds are managed via smart contracts, and each transaction requires gas.And which acts as an arbiter for every trade, meaning that the IDEX smart contracts validate transactions before submitting them to the Ethereum network. But i also consider EtherDelta along with IDEX,the decentralized exchange which are going to make the race.

Certainly, decentralized exchanges are going to become very important in the following years. I don‘t want to miss the train and am looking for good investment opportunities but am also interested in using an exchange and switching from the centralized ones.

Name your top 2 DEX which make the race in your opinion. Currently I am looking for a already established dex and ICOs.

My top 2 DEX:

 1. Altcoin.io- powered by Atomic Swaps has its powered "Altcoin.iobills" itself, Atomic swaps are opening up a whole new world of cryptocurrency exchanges this year with no middle-man required.

 2. Shapeshift.io

Shapeshift is one  the most popular DEXs there is, available to traders everywhere in the world except in New York state and North Korea.

If you’ve tried centralized cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase and Binance, and if you are looking to branch out further, try this decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. There’s no dollars or euros or pounds on Shapeshift; just private, P2P crypto-to-crypto trades.

So far my 2 favorite are crypto bridge and idex, first one is popular with new shitcoins as they have fast listing and low fee for it but dont have erc20 tokens(they are working on implenting them)Other one is only for erc20 tokens that i have to say looks good so far.Probably binance would be the best choice but i doubt that they will ever become dex

I hope WAVES, the functionality is really nice,  but trading volume somehow still very small.

To sell your ERC20 tokens Etherdelta and/or Forkdelta are always convenient.

binance is not a decentralized exchange. I think waves will be number one if they can manage to do what they promised with a strong advertising strategy.
IDEX is also not bad but it is a little bit slow and hard to manage with mobile phone. But still much better than etherdelta.

The race is certainly on for a decentralised exchange because people are getting worried about these exchanges getting hacked, especially after what happened in Japan with the NEM coins. Also, too much regulation in countries like south korea means they will want something both private and decentralised. Take a look at BISQ which offers privacy coins o their DEX. This makes it super private to exchange valuable coins. Also the waves dex is good and you can get some cheap wagerr tokens there

If you are looking for established ones, I suggest waves, it is really good project and the team is working hard and it is still cheap for me. Look at also not established one: oax.

A lot of people said Binance but it's not decentralized exchange. It's certainly number 1 in the business right now.
My favorites are Idex for Ethereum and Waves built-in dex. I hope we see more decentralized exchanges in the future. For example Neo will need one in near future.

 2. Shapeshift.io

is this really a dex? i mean you send your coins to them to buy other altcoins. seems pretty much centralized to me .if their website gets shuts down they are gone. its just a service as far as i see it. its a good service and it always worked for me. but thats not a DEX.

see something as BITBOOST they cant ever be shut down and all transactions are private. thats a real dex and they will probably get very, very HUGE.

How about Kyber Network. They're in developing stage.
NEX or Neon Exchange is a promising project though
