how do you mean?

Im not sure what part of it you are unsure about..?

I mean. Did they ever pay you actual money? Or are you working on vapor-promises from the the so called "management" or "everyone" ...

How many people are in this so called management? - I mean, I'v emailed with a couple of - no offence - but close to being retarded support people.. who got no fucking clue how to do customer care or customer support. But there has to be some not-so-fucking-dumb-that-they-cant-even-manage-to-answer-a-fucking-simple-question-as-in "where are my LCD displays?" ....

Christ... When is your loyalty going to end? When the cops come knocking on your door charging you with money laundering and chrimes related to theft? ... cause your so called "management" wont take the hit. Thats for damn sure. They'll put it all on the small guys, and that - again, no offence - is you.

08 Sept 2014: X3 Power supply recall

There have been reports that some X3s are failing. We have located this problem to be caused by the power supply.
Please note that this power supply is not manufactured by Black Arrow and has been purchased from a company in Shenzhen which sold it to us as CE certified.

After thorough investigations the power supply company has reached the conclusion that there are 3 major issues in this PSU and any PSU can fail at any time and it not safe to use. They have currently fixed the issues and are currently testing them.

Please stop using all X3s immediately!

We are recalling the X3 power supplies. Please do not ship your X3 unit or X3 Power supply back to us right now. We will contact the X3 customers later this week with more instructions on how to arrange shipping. If you have an X3 and have not received an email from us this week please contact our customer support immediately.

According to Nemesidis, this has now changed to
Quote
Please send not working ones for replacement, include ticket number as RMA number.

Unfortunately we cannot replace something that is sitting at your place, we need to receive it, file it and find a cause. After that, replacements will be issued. We are unable to replace units or parts, without receiving ones that has problems back. Please note that if found working, or mechanically damaged, additional charges can be applied for replacement and testing of such parts.

1) Recall all PSUs and tell people to unplug and RMA them.
2) If any of the PSUs actually does work, charge customers an additional fee for testing and replacement.
3) PROFIT!!!

This is complete and total bullshit.

I thought you meant the boss that is apparently nowhere to be found. Which I did not understand as he just at the office.

Regarding me, this has already been discussed on ecointalk. http://ecointalk.net/topic/392-black-arrow-weekly-production-update/?p=19680

Think he might take time out of his "busy schedule" to tell us what the hell is going on with OUR money that so FAR i have seen nothing but Lies and broken promises.

You are welcome to come visit. Saying so before hand might be a good idea as people are running all over the place most of the time. You can contact me if you like.

"Come visit" .. but doesn't say where. Brilliant.

As it is clearly posted on our website I did not think the address was needed, but here you go.

I was told I would be refunded for my X3 in Feb. 7 months later and I've heard nothing.

Me neither, i'm already looking for lawyers in their region because it's crystal clear that this is the only way I will get my X-3 Money back. It's not 100$ it's frikin' 6000

So did I. I then requested a refund in April, which they approved, but asked me to wait until shipping started.

In August, after shipping had started, they said there would be no refunds.

Yet somehow we customers are to blame for keeping them busy with our complaints and making their sensitive engineers cry with our criticism.

Please, please report your case to the Hong Kong police, using the above link. Then the police will have one more complaint on top of the pile of others. And they will act on them.

Do it soon, before BA deletes another 50 pages of posts from this thread again.

Where is the Hong Kong police link ?

The Hong Kong police are already investigating, but the more reports against BA, the better.

Report them now before they send you a worthless (or even dangerous) miner and then claim you gifted it to them if you refuse delivery.

I also had a surprise last night. With no prior notice or tracking number my other two X1's arrived from Minersource. Ordered and paid for in mid December.

ROI on them is about 2 years. Guess its time to try to unload them or solo/solo-pool and try and get lucky.

You'd have to be really, really lucky. At 100GH/s your average generation time for a solo block is over 47-1/2 years.

Unfortunately, even your 2-year projection to break even is hopelessly optimistic - unless you have free electricity, your power costs will exceed your earnings after just a few more difficulty jumps.

BA has well and truly fucked us.

A solution would be all of us to gather and discuss this somewhere else because here are eyes watching, and plan our next move. The more the better

It's definitely game over for BA now even if they do manage to pull out of this. The X1 can't compete with the new U3.

FYI it should be noted they are actually operating out of Shenzen.

B1607 Saige Building,
Shenzhen, China, 518000

AMT CEO Joshua Zipkin had mentioned this at one point and Gleb Gamow also connected the dots. It is likley the CEOs of the two companies are just mining with the hardware built seeing as I and others have exposed evidence of AMT doing the same thing. And chances are if BA is working with AMT, then all this is likely. Of course this is a self modded thread so I dont expect it to last. I suggest someone take it and quote it in a user thread or elsewhere. use web.archive.org as well to mirror it and point to anything incriminating.

"amtminers scam joshua zipkin scammer"
-Joshua Zipkin leaked skype chats http://bit.ly/1s7U2Yb

out of the 6 x3 I have in hand - (note each is actually only 1TH per 3U), 4 are running fine, one doesn't see all the chips and one has a power supply that sparked and pop when first plugged in and now reads the fault/alarm light.  None of these are the ones that I pre-ordered from minersource --- that one still hasn't been received -- and one of the alleged co-foundered of minersource I found out left at the start of october.  What a bunch of crap this has been.

Fortunately BlackArrow claimed that if they released late then they would send additional hardware to compensate for the late release based on the current market.  So the good news is - every 1 x3 (2TH) should  get an extra 10 or 12 TH received according to their original agreements.  Or they should just man up, hike up the skirt, grab the chestnuts, liquidate and refund what's left.  It's clear that Black Arrow screwed the pooch on this one and might as well run for the hills.

Finally received notice of shipment from MS last week, expecting my 5 X-3's to arrive on Monday. Supposedly they have fixed the power supply issue (yea right). Virtually impossible to get any info from MS at this point, they have seemingly all but shut down communications. I did speak with the former co-founder of MS (Dan) last week, and he did confirm he has left the company, claimed he was going back to school. Good idea, get out of the burning building while he still can. Still don't know what I'm going to do with this junk when it arrives, I suppose I'll try heating my house during the winter until it catches fire and inevitably murders my whole family, there's a Christmas present worth celebrating! So who's working on the class action already???

I'd guess they're simply pulling the green caps. Check when you get yours. Without any update from BA, I highly doubt that MS has new power supplies.

At least they gave you notice. They unknowingly shipped my pile of shit (X1) to my door despite the 50 or so emails stating the contrary. Bunch of assholes, hope they go bankrupt

Are you mining with yours then? I have tried many many times to get a refund, but no dice. Figure can always join the class action later and try in vain to recover whatever scraps remain in the near future...here's hoping! These guys are done for...

Has anyone tried refusing delivery and demanding something better from MS such as Spondoolies or equivalent ? I wonder if that is possible. Just getting burned so bad it hurts.
