Does anyone have any insight into building a mobile phone mining rig?  I'm sure I can pick up a bunch of them cheaper than an ASIC miner right now and start mining something until I can upgrade in the future.

I assume I want samsungs, but does anyone know the lowest model I can go and still be efficient and extremely profitable?

Nothing impossible. But, come on this is 2018, what you expect with buy mobile phones and mine something with that?

Except you have to plan to change a mobile phone to something, like the article above, look like cool, lol.
That article means nothing, no technical data, even the contents of the article didn't show anything about mining.

although cheaper than ASIC, but phones would can't compete with ASIC on hash rate and thermal management, ASIC produced for mining but phones not be designed for mining. ASIC Inside there is more chip when chip working, each chip fitted heatsink, and the heat in the heatsink is pulled out/inside by the fan. whether Phones has ways of working same like ASIC on anticipating heat?

i am mining electronuem on samsung s5 getting 4-6 h/s

How many ETN do you get per days, per weeks?

How long a phone running on mining, whether 1 hr, 3 hr, 24 hr per days?

I sure, not profitable you must compete with GPU and CPU miners on hash rate and your phone a bit warm for a few minutes even is overheat. what your take not in accordance with the price of the phone its.

The mining feature in Electroneum mobile app purely virtual mining, same as you playing simple games and get paid with some ETN.

In mining context, of course, you can't beat ASIC Miner such as Antminer X.3 or Baikal Giant-N, even you are lagging far from CPU miners.

MrManny, Can you tell us?
I am curious too if that mobile miner is really giving you reward based on the phone's hashrate or the Electroneum team is just baby-feeding their hardcore fans by sticking to their "mobile mining" gimmick.

Don't waste your time to ask him. It's simple, 30-minute mining this day, the next minutes, the phone was out of battery or even burn. Then he can't check how many coins getting. Of course, bcause the phone was off, out of battery, remember?  Grin
