I would also point out that lauda very much did not ask theymos to be the arbitrator of the bet he wanted to make that I do not have evidence that he is the same as ThePharmacist, who would be in a much better position to evaluate if these two accounts are the same person or not. Maybe the reason for this is that lauda does not want theymos publicly commenting on any of lauda's sockpuppets

I disagree.  He may have started this thread about something else, but he addressed my challenge directly, even going so far as to bring up the need for escrow. 

QS says he has evidence that I'm an alt of Lauda, and my bet was that he wouldn't be able to convince an as-yet-unagreed-upon disinterested third party.

YOu are wrong. In the US, you are required to pay income taxes on income earned for work preformed in the US, or if a US citizen, on worldwide income. The forum is based in the US and as such work done for the forum is done in the US. The medium of payment does not matter, the amount of the income is based on the value of the property given.

Most European countries also tax income earned.
