The amount of winning is determined by probability. For example, it's necessary to guess 6 digits out of 49 to get a jackpot in a lottery. Therefore, the opportunity to get all the amount of jackpot by 1 player is extremely low. In most of the scenarios, small parts of the jackpot are distributed among winners.
