There are so few pools out there for MoneroV right now I thought I'd put one up to help run some nodes and spread the hash power around.  Come stop by and mine some blocks with us.

CC-MINE - MoneroV Pool

http://xmv.cc-mine.com
No signup required

Pool running on a dedicated server
MoneroV nodes running on dedicated servers
US based Stratum servers (Seattle to start, East Coast and European servers to be added later)
    Payments run every 30 minutes
    Pool fee: .8%
    PROP payout scheme
    Telegram group: https://t.me/cc_mine

What do you mean low amount of pools lol?

monerov.herominers.com
xmv.infinity-pools.cc

cryptoknight.cc/monerov
fairhash.org
magnificentpool.com
easyhash.io/monerov
xmv.cryptopool.space

I should probably have said few pools that control most of the hash rate.  Adding in another small pool to help a bit.  Leafpool controls most of the hash rate right now.  If you take cryptoknight.cc out of that list the total hash power is under 80kh/s for all of those pools.  crypto knight is at about 180 +/- nice hash .  Leafpool is at 1.5 MH/S.  I use my pool to point my miners at and am inviting folks to join me while the overall network hash rate is still low and we can still get some decent blocks with some lower hash rates.  I'm not looking in anyway to say any pool is better than others, I just think at this stage of the coin it is going to take many pools to keep it decentralized.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I've been trying to trade XMV/BTC at tradeogre.com and altex.exchange. Volumes on both those exchanges are very low, thin order books and the spreads are wide. Anybody trading XMV/BTC on a different exchange that's better?

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

After Sync the wallet shows the same amount of Monero I had, instead 10 times that.

Can someone explain how I correct that?

Dude how about you read the damn title of the thread, you didn't even have to read the OP.
It says 1:10 fork... so if you had 1 Monero, you get 10 MoneroV

Due how about you read my question.

It show the same amount as Monero I had instead of 10 times that.

it shows 6.45XMV, and I had 6.45 XMR. Got it?

Before thinking I am stupid, maybe consider you are the retard.

You need to follow this guide man -

Get 10:1 instead of 1:1 XMV:XMR Error Fix:

MONEROV  GUI WALLET  Paбoтaл нopмaльнo , ceгoдня нe cинxpoнизиpyeтcя пишeт DAEMON FAILED TO START  кaкиe нaдo нoды пpoпиcaть , ктo пoдcкaжeт?

I'm having the same issue.  I believe it's Windows Defender, but have already added the entire build folder into the exclusion list.  I had it working for a brief time last night and it suddenly went back to the start screen.  Since then the Daemon won't start.

Any ideas?

PS.  This looks like a really rad project and I hope the dev team grows.  Maybe they can use some of the dev team funding to work on getting a vendor to accept it.

Thanks.  I ended up running the monerovd.exe file as administrator and it solved the problem.

Seems like today CoinRoom listed XMV but with more fiat options than eth/btc.
Hitbtc seems like they started answering on their reddit sub - https://old.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/8hify8/monerov/

All good news around!

A week of pain with Monero + MoneroV GUI wallets  Angry

Can somebody please answer my question below:

I had Monero coins that I bought before the fork in my Kraken exchange account and they sat there until last week when I tried to claim my MoneroV's by sending my Monero's to the Monero GUI wallet and by then importing the seed into MoneroV wallet and I also tried the same by using the keys from my Monero wallet and my question is, should I be still able to get my MoneroV's or did I miss out due to not having them sitting in my Monero GUI wallet at the time of the fork because the balance is not showing anything in the MoneroV wallet?
Did I misread or judge it wrongly and shouldn't have left my Monero's sitting in my Kraken account?

I installed MoneroV GUI wallet on a different machine now and it has been syncing for about 24 hours now and still going to see if it works this way. PAIN IN THE ASS!

P.S. Both GUI wallets latest versions for some reason wouldn't work on my newly installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machine so had to use ealrier version, weird! The error says look at log for reason which is blank on both so don't know why.

if you had your monero to kraken during the time of snapshot and kraken does not support monerov, then you are too late.
by what you state above, meaning that you send your monero last week, i assume that you missed the snapshot.
You need your kraken's monero address seed or priv key to restore that wallet in monerov.

Bill Hicks was right about....everything
