KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence

I am against the KYC for members of the bounty campaigns. I think this is acceptable only for large investors. I believe that the use of KYC is at variance with the basic principles of crypto currencies.

Verification is probably the only solution to overcome the dishonest game, but many participants submit fake data.

i dont know if everyone notice it but, everyone is asking for our information
for me it is data gathering which is going to leak or sell our information to others
this will always makes us more prone to hacking, due to the information we share during kyc
i dont know if im correct but this is from my point of view not correct, we been getting airdrop before
without kyc, i think some fake icos are just gathering data and who knows they might selling it to other
people. or various group which is dangerous

  Am completely against KYC on airdrop, it is not worth it at all. KYC should only be for those participating in pre-sale or those participating in ICO.

I think that KYC required for ICO participation need to have trusted platform too not just giving away data to some random guys and we are talking about the data that is really private and can be used for illegal or criminality. We really need more regulation about KYC .

I think if you are involved in Airdrops and you are offered to go to the KUS, it already causes suspicion that this company is a scam. It seems to me that those coins that you can get in Airdrops do not cost lost personal data, so you do not need to take risks.

I think that many of such airdrops especially have arranged to get your documents. This is a great way for dark market traders to get the goods for free. And this is only the beginning.

then what's the use of KYC for DEV when they oblige KYC to airdrops? do not they not have to verify their data? are not they not investors?
and not their income is not too big? is this just being used to get someone's personal data?

Absolutely. I am against with KYC if they are asking from bounty hunters and airdrop. Our identity will not be safe and they can use it to claim our account. Our privacy and security will be compromised.

The idea behind Cryptocurrencies are that they stand for Anonymity!

It is a bad idea when you are giving your important credentials just in return for a small amount of airdrop tokens. Better if you have a fake documents it would be better but its not advisable at all. It is completely better if you didn't try submitting this documents, we are aware of it, but what if their main system has been breached!

yeah kyc for airdrops and bounties is crap, that is the reason of why i try to aovid joining in there for my own convenience, i do not like to provide that kind of information.

It's a way to get free documents from many people for free. Then these documents can be sold in a darknet and earn on it. It's a scam to demand documents to send coins for a few cents or dollars.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens. 

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

I also agree with you mate. I don't understand those airdrops and bounties that require my documents.

KYC for airdrop of course it's very interesting, on the one hand it's even very funny, because I'm wondering about what these people think at all? I think that they do not think about anything, because it seems to me that people who have made such a decision are afraid to breathe fresh air.

i will not participate as a bounty hunter in this ico giving your ID for an airdrop is very dangerous... I wouldn't do something like that.It's risky enough for a serious ICO but then for an airdrop... You know nothing of the team behind and nothing about their intention. Your data can be sold or exchanged and your identity usurped. Be very careful

I know a lot of the bad precedences guys, dont give your personal data to someone you don't know, its not worth it for sure, be careful
