I think that for airdrops it is bust (although a couple of times I met such with large payments). Some confidentiality should still remain, because the documents required for presentation are serious enough, and when they are used by other persons there may be problems

most ico's has airdrops and offering for their % share to the community has requiring kyc for the eligibility and claiming rewards. i they required that because user spamming and to filter fake accounts. thats why sad to say, many people are not eligible to from getting paid.

I am against the KYC for members of the bounty campaigns. I think this is acceptable only for large investors. I believe that the use of KYC is at variance with the basic principles of crypto currencies.

I think you should stop/forget these Airdrops that requires KYC.
Don't send out your private document/information (Government ID, Driving license....) for just some cents that may be paid by the airdrop programs
Your personal details should not as cheap as that.

Its not normal and I think they are intending to get all your personal information, be careful of that. Airdrops didn't give a high rewards so I think they shouldn't do any KYC for it.

Why would you even want to do KYC for an airdrop? Unfortunately now sometimes they require KYC for bounties after the campaign is done so you are kinda obligated to do it otherwise your work would be for nothing, i hate that very much.

KYC is not a good choice for an airdrops, unless the airdrop is worthy to devulge you identity. But it is just a less than 1000 dollar airdrop then dont give a KYC.

It is certainly an annoying thing, but it is a necessary step towards regulating the system. We can not complain about the scams and the lack of clarity, if then when we ask something that helps to put a little order we refuse.

I really  support anonymity in crypto, but most people apply multiple times for Same airdrops, that why I think. Kyc for airdrop is still ideal, but for bounty purposes that I don't agree with,  cause it not a free coin, you work for it

It is not good to just give your important credential/information to the person you don't know. You are surely be exposed to a possible threat. Don't be deceived by a small portion of altcoins in return for your important credentials. Some of the airdrops is a scam, its worst if the identity theft will safe-keep your credentials/information.

airdrop use KYC I think it's very nice because of the many attendees who join the airdrop and most likely a lot of fake accounts here. And this could help to reduce the occurrence of fraud. And it also depends on your self to do it or not do KYC.

I'm really hesitant to do KYC at first for I'm worried that they might use my details to scam others.I have done some KYC in my past bounties already only if I have a decent stakes but before doing KYC I made sure to research about the team and the developers of the project. And about airdrop KYC I haven't encountered an airdrop requiring kyc but if there is, I wont risk my identity specially if the project haven't established a name that could be trusted.

First of all you should research about airdrop that should be not fake and after that you can provide your documents for KYC because KYC will help them to identify the right person as you know most of scammers, hackers also cheating them to get tokens. so this is the reason .

Sincerely speaking I have been pondering about this for a while project asking for KYC for airdrop, most time the project won't state it before participating, after participating and time to receive your tokens, they will now bring the KYC rule to restrict them for receiving their tokens

What's next? KYC to read the white paper? It is very strange and silly to ask passport data for the 10$ shit tokens. I don't know who came up with it, but it's definitely a great mind man. And the most interesting thing here is that this is not the most reliable and proven projects. What do they expect?

Yeah, these bounty companies are just brazen,I'm not gonna give my data to anyone because they're creating a project and they want to know me.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

With just a small amount of we/you can get from their airdrop they will require participants to pass KYC, you've gonna be kidding me, that's not

right anymore, perhaps no more will join or partake of any airdrops if that things will be apply or implement. I would rather join in other bounty

program which I know is much more higher income I could get rather to join in airdrops.

I think kyc for water drop is not a good break because it does not really matter to me, unlike the bounty program to prevent doubling the account. it is a funny thing.

I dont think its a good thing to collect sensitive personal data which is a legal one just to give away few free coins. We should also stay away from such airdrops.

I think if you are involved in Airdrops and you are offered to go to the KUS, it already causes suspicion that this company is a scam. It seems to me that those coins that you can get in Airdrops do not cost lost personal data, so you do not need to take risks.
