Your observations is correct and timely, naturally KYC is meant for investors and not for bounty hunters, investors KYC is needed because of the funds they are investing especially if the money is above $1000 any amount less should not attract KYC.

If airdrop also use the system KYC very reasonable according to me because it’s too excessive, if for the bounty is only natural because the need to security let to escape spam but if airdrop is very.
I am also just avoiding an AirDrops which would ask me to pass a kyc also I am trying to avoid bounties joining only the top of them which I can trust.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents. Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.
Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.
It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.
If as a community we do not say no to this, then it would become the norm.
I do not agree with KYC. I am avoiding bounties with KYC. I understand why some bounty requires KYC but in airdrop theres a need for KYC ? is this true ? No comment. But it is really hard to entrust the information about who the real me is to people that I also do not know. Are they trusted ? Is our information safe because they may use it in some other way.

For me KYC is another form of corruption or another approach to ask the bounty members of their identity in order to see whether they are high value target or not. It is depends to their motives. Risky to give our identity.

I also agree with you when we come to this market is because of the anonymity. But recently, the scam and cheat situation happens so much, so some airdrop and bounty campaigns must have KYC to filter participants list

I also try not to take on the company where it is necessary to pass KYC, because I think that there is no need to give someone your data!

Unfortunately I think that sooner or later but this test will have to pass all necessary. Yes, it is very problematic and risky to provide their personal data is unknown where, but I think that the future will come

To my mind airdrops are not worth passing the KYC (I more often than not pass the KYC for bounties, however).
Be that as it may, I needed to remark on the said secrecy. I consider obscurity crypto will be executed without bounds when crypto is utilized worldwide as an installment medium. For the time being, crypto is more similar to venture, and in the cutting edge world there are a few methodology directed by the purviews of various nations that we need to take after.

Yes is a bad precedent why because the called it a free giveaway token so no need of asking you to do a KYC for you to get it it's of no use i think KYC supposed to be done when buying token in ICO.

It's a bit of a mess legally as different countries' governments have different rules, which is why some airdrops are now doing KYC to be sure they're compliant.

This is free coins which we claim by social activity. Why do we should submit KYC ? I think it's not provide anything good in crypto market.

I agree with you but it's hard to identify fakes account that join the airdrops and it is makes not fair for people who join the airdrop with only one account (based on the rule). The airdroper must find a way to prevent fakes account for joining the airdrop.

Yes is bad for me i don't see any reason for a project requesting for Kyc just for airdrop since the called it a giveaway coin so it does not make any sense at all. Kyc us made for token sale participants. The are the one's that need it not a airdrop.

I have personally try to avoid submitting my own personal documents to companies in order to take part in airdrops, as you would never know what will the companies do with all your personal documents after they received it, and I think most of the companies does not even have a secure security system in place to protect those important documents of the participants.

I myself will not require it and let it go for the rewards. It means that we must send our ID to receive the small amount of the money. I'm afraid of the use of our ID if the project is untrusted.

have by and by endeavor to abstain from presenting my very own archives to organizations keeping in mind the end goal to partake in airdrops, as you could never recognize what will the organizations do with all your own records after they got it, and I think most about the organizations does not have a safe security framework set up to ensure those critical reports of the members

I really do not understand why KYCs are now required for some sirdrops especially when airdrops are only giving out a small amount of coins. It's like selling your identity for change. The kyc process is starting to ruin cryptos for a lot of people like me who are here because crytpos are anonymous. if I wanted to give out my information for every small transaction than I would stick with banks.

You're right. If the bounty hunters begin to pass the KYC then soon the crypto currency will lose its anonymity and cease to be interesting.

It is a bad idea when you are giving your important credentials just in return for a small amount of airdrop tokens. Better if you have a fake documents it would be better but its not advisable at all. It is completely better if you didn't try submitting this documents, we are aware of it, but what if their main system has been breached!
