oh... my... god.... lack of privacy is a bitch huh... It really is bad, not just for American public for their loss of the their 4th amendment rights, worse is the stall on innovation due to entrepreneurs fear of trade secret theft in development. Plus just as Europe will not buy the American Genetically Modified Organizisms (GMO's) like our corn, so will other nations refuse to do business with American Software and American Internet Service Providers. right Now you can probably make a fortune SHORT SELLING the biggest American Cloud Computing Company (ORacle, IBM, CISCO, Microsoft). THIS WILL ONLY ADD TO THE collapse of the USA and the AMerican Petrol Dollar. Check this video out from my bud MAX ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wsZHNdQLvOU-digeros

Why aren't people protesting in front of the White House or anything? The NSA is doing all sorts of horrible things and yet it seems like people just accept it and move on.

Because the people aren't 'we the people' anymore, they are mostly sheeple.

Because exercising civil liberties on or near government property is a heinous crime these days. Or at least you'd think it was, with anyone doing so being hauled off to jail.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Well duh, I don't even know how this is news. If NSA wasn't sniffing it the reporting entities are fed info by all the participants anyway. All the NSA sniffing is doing is decreasing the timeline for noticing strange transfers.
Your privacy was already violated, this is not news.

They're too comfortable still. Big protests don't happen because of civil liberties or rights. Comfort is all that truly matters to 99% of people.
