The windows wallet will not sync and is throwing tons of Transaction Verification impossible errors. Block 370, 340, and 330 remaining are the ones that aren't working. Anyone else having issues?


Can the dev tell us what is going on and what makes a block do what just happened? What's the solution even? I am actually kinda curious.

We are still analyzing the issue and have a few theories that we are working. We will submit a report and a fix as soon as we can. It is our top priority right now to understand what caused the issue to not only resolve it but also to prevent it from happening again. Please bare with us.

I'm not an expert on ring signatures and why this might happen, but my view right now is that some node validated a transaction (or a full block from a pool?) that was not valid, then broadcasted this transaction to the network. Whichever node has that transaction in their mempool needs to be taken down and stop broadcasting to the network.

When I try to sync on my Ubuntu node with ./kreditx , I also get stuck at the block in question - #5396. Then, when I run 'print_pool' I see the transaction in the pool that is causing the errors (output below).
