Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

You can signup on meetup.com where you can search for all kinds of meetups, including cryptocurrency and Bitcoin-specific.

By default, it shows the events that are closest to you, so if you're in Toronto those will show up first. You can also search by location.

Good luck!

the toronto meetup is to be held by the FINTECH  group soon. i am not sure if it is 29th or march or 30th but i think it is ok if you get to do some research on google and other crypto related websites.
