It's quite unfortunate how some bounty hunters have been actively cheating in campaigns. There have been instances where people create several btt accounts just to participate in bounty programs. And I think it has played a role in the recent demote of Jnr members to newbie and spamming in the forum. This also makes the work of bounty managers stressful and also other participants gets affected due to delay in bounty payment.
when this attitude continues, there will come a time where there won't be accomadation for most bounty hunters on btt.
It's about time we work honestly and be ethical when it Comes to bounty hunting

That is a really good advice to all of us. Even though it is not wrong to create multiple accounts, it is not fair to use more than one account in a particular bounty. Let us be fair to each other and the bounty managers too.

No one is going to hear your advice because they know it is unethical but still they are doing this for money and many of the people keep bounty hunting as their only profession so what you can do is find the alts and red tag them which make them unworthy to participate on bounties and if they create new account this is not going to be an easy task for them to rank up.

KYC will not help to remove set of accounts and swindlers. Even I consider on turn if the project demands to load not only the passport but also demands still the reference from bank, the driver's license, then the project unambiguously swindlers and to you it is not necessary to participate in it.
Only think of whom information your personal and information can fall into hands that you are engaged in cryptocurrency.

Firstly it is not  right for bounty managers to introduce kycs on their own
The best way to prevent multiple registration is by limiting participation for each segments of the campaign

And also by request proof of Authentications as well
Get it spot on

The decision was perfect because its true that many scammers are following this scheme and trying to adopt more than they are allowed. I have seen many spreadsheets of the bounties where you will realise that most of the accounts are junior member who get enrolled over there. This is clearly notation that someone is either fiddling with the system or someone is not liking the ruled system at all. In both ways its loss of bounty hunters who are truly contributing to the bounties and also the ICO which is followed with it. ICO's put huge money at stake so that they can publish their projects to large number of participants as well as rest of the community but scammers let them down and thus projects become scam afterward too. Have seen this happening many times.

There is no point giving such advise, because people that need it won't listen or bother anyway. Those who are apparently cheating will not because of what the OP said, stop cheating. It is more like you posting about scammers and hackers, and urging them to understand the implication of what they are doing to the community. You think they care about the community? They only care about how they want to cheat and get rich as fast as possible, and even though it is a bad thing and a terrible one which I believe nemesis always have a way of catching up with cheaters, but the reality is that, this is something that cannot be changed, except of course, bounty managers continue coming up with some strict rules to help curb the situation.

I have seen many bounty managers dealing with individuals like that manually (successfully, I might add), which has postponed the deadline of bounty distribution even further. But some were unsuccessful or should I say, they had no interested nor time or energy to deal with them. It really depends on who the bounty manager is.

Look, cheaters are everywhere and we can not do a thing about it. It was like this in the past and I doubt that this will change drastically in the near future. In my opinion, the only way is to ban them. I am not in favor of regulations, but if you don't accept the company´s requirements, you should be punished. KYC/AML is not a method I would embrace in bounties, therefore I am quite happy with the current situation. Managers keep their eyes on posts and if they find something suspicious, they should make a "small investigation," which is quite a normal thing nowadays. I am not against better methods, but KYC/AML won't change the way cheaters are trying to make more than they should.

That is actually the thing. It is not like those who are doing all these things does not know the negative impact they bring, but they just really do not care or I will rather say they are selfish to the point of never caring.

Cheating is a bad and unethical thing to do, but as long as you will always see good people and also see bad people in the world at the same time, there is nothing we can do about it. As long as there are some rules in place that limits their activities or get them caught and negged, then we will gradually keep having some sanity, but that is something we all know may be hard to achieve 100%.

Your idea is really good but no one going to work honestly with bounty campaigns. Anyone can cheat to get more rewards, they will do it. Bounty managers cannot catch all of the cheaters. The bitcointalk forum is full with bounty hunters. That's why rules are changing day by day. I hope the rules will be higher in the future.

There are good and bad points with bounty hunters. It is not against forum rules to have more than one account but it is against most campaign rules to stack them into the same bounty. Forum rules discourage spammy posts so if you want to chat shyte then make sure you do it in the off-topic area which is more forgiving

Yes i do agree to this as well because using a lot of account to gain more than other will be bad to our reputation so it is better ti have only one and give chance to others as well because in this way we csn enjoy crypto more

...also other participants gets affected due to delay in bounty payment.

I think the point is being mistaken here. Although , cheating is unethical but how does it delay payment where the manager has ignorantly taken account of every "participants's" stakes... Just wanted to understand your point anyway.

You're right, a few months ago there was a lot of cheating that made it difficult for managers to sort out the bounty hunters who joined the campaign honestly.

The people who are creating multiple accounts and using bots to sign up to bounty campaigns are not bounty hunters but simply scammers. If they were not trying to scam bounties they would be doing some other scam. It is stupid to ask the 99% of us who work honestly to work honestly since we already are. People who manage bounties need to change their systems so that multiple sign ups by scam artists become impossible. There is very little that we honest bounty hunters can do when bounty managers make it easy for the scam artists.

You made a point but not everyone will support that as will all know that bitcointalk account is use to make money that why they are trying to make the system harder for everyone.... I can't Alps blame who use multiple accounts to run campaign because most Hunters use of crypto as a profession.
