This is the worst start I have ever seen. no normal wallets, no support, no pools  Cry
With this approach, there is no future  Undecided
Goodbye dosh!

the concept of a fair division in crypto and transparent in the transaction is the excellence of the DOSH I guess. This sort of thing is very necessary for the middle of a large number of current crypto.

You just have to create a folder ".dosh" at the root and everything will work on Linux Smiley

Yes use the miner that is found within dosh/build/release/src.
You can also use xmrig if you like. Many other cryptonight mining software are compatible. But for easiest when solomining, use the miner provided.

Maybe you need to reset your wallet. If you are using simplewallet, just reset and check. You can also try ./walletd if your familiar with its usage.

Thanks, I will check my wallet...

For the mining, if we want to use xmrig, we still need to know a mining pool Smiley Any news about that?

We are working on it. Please use a Linux system for now, and we will keep everyone updated when a Windows release is available.

Thanks.

Hi Denish,

We are currently working on creating Windows build and wallets so users can have more convenient accessibility. After we will create pools, however, anybody is more than welcome to create a mining pool for dosh. We will keep you updated.

Thanks for joining Dosh.

While waiting on the wallets and pool, you can download and build the github archive.

That gets you a daemon 'doshd', a simplewallet, and a miner.

With no pools to compete with, solo mining with 'miner' still works pretty well.

I just made a mining pool for dosh:

35.173.182.183

ports/hardware type:

3333 - low end
5555 - moderate
7777 - high end

payout every 24 hours

Fee is currently at 5% but will will be lowering it in the near future.

front-end is currently disabled.

Would you be willing to share the customisations you needed to make the pool work on dosh? I have been unsuccessful with miner threads crashing when a worker submits a share to the pool?

I've thrown a miner on your pool in the meantime Smiley Thanks

Guys, please, how do you make a wallet? On Windows. Dosh, kind of unfair play here when others have no knowledge how to build wallets or whatever.
We want to participate too.

Does your pool have payout thresholds?  Also, at what time do the 24 hour payouts occur?

Edit: I've been mining for 27 hours on your pool without a payout as of now.  I'm turning off my miner until I hear back or get a payout.

I have now turned off the pool because I cannot manage it full-time, plus the server was costing me a little, but I have put the code on github with instructions for users to setup their own pool if they wish.
