I really do understand that you must do everything to try to crush the trust in Bitcoin, just like you do with gold - but guys.. executing the largest sale in 9 days - on sunday, when MTGOX users are virtually dried out of money.. c'mon.. If you want us to believe that this is a natural market activity- you MUST try to be more subtle then that. I know you have close to unlimited budget to kill bitcoin (hell.. if I owned a major international bank, I would budget at least $100MM to kill this very serious threat - if not much more) - but you simply can't be THAT obvious. it beats the purpose.

Don't get me wrong - your efforts are good for the bitcoin economy. It scares away ignorant speculators that are selling their Bitcoins in loss - usually to those who understand Bitcoin.

Naturally, the group of those who really understand Bitcoin and its importance is constantly growing. These are the kind of people that made 20% a year in the last 10 years from gold (>500% total) despite all the mainstream-propaganda telling them that it's going to crash really really soon. These people know that the banking cartel must try to kill it - simply because the bankers are not stupid and they must know what it means for the status-quo if bitcoin grows dramatically. So really - you don't stand a chance discouraging them.

As for those who don't get it - you still have a good chance with them - but you have to do better than that.

I'm trying to help you because whenever you succeed in creating a market panic - it means that Bitcoins are tranferred from those who don't get it - to those who do - and that's a good thing.

Yours truly,

A Gold & Bitcoin owner.

EDIT: Sorry about the spelling, as you can probably guess from my username - English is my 2nd language. Please let me know about any other speller-proof errors. Thanks. (and feel free to make fun of me as long as you still enjoy it Smiley)

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Hey Synaptic,

i'll bet you 100 BTC right now that the exchange price will be higher one year from now than it is today in USD terms to be held in escrow.  How about it?

Just in case the OP is given an short elementary spelling education and edits his thread title, the continuity of the image being pasted is he wrote

"Deer Agents - you are TOO obvious! $120K sale on SUNDAY? (largest in 9 days!"

Also, I raise you this:

In the Game of Bitcoins, you Sell, or you Buy. There is no middle ground.

you need to replace the deer with a Bull's head b/c Bitcoin is gonna blow the heads off all the doubters.

Didn't see your bet as I was busy posting my Game of Thrones macro.

Firstly your bet is based on malformed premises.

Secondly, I don't want 100BTC now or in the future.

But thank you for the offer, though I must politely refuse.

@cypherdoc: I'll take your bet, even though I know you're just playing with him for principle to teach him a lesson. I think it will be less, but only by a little (you have to account for some drop as it's going to get a little rocky)

Oh yes, what a fucking lesson he's teaching here today...

He's willing to stake 100BTC on a meaningless date in the future that his obsession will be valued higher than sinking price of today...

Profound.

Synaptic:

ask your banking handlers about Bull markets and the power they have.  they know all about them in the context of the stock market, subprime loans, CDS/derivatives, oil, wheat, rice, real estate.

unfortunately they badly missed the greatest bull market of the last 11 yrs in gold/silver.

and they are using you as they miss the Bitcoin bull thats just getting started.

this will be a Bull market for the ages and will blow the sh*t off their doors.

i'm waiting for your response on my bet.
