We are currently in the middle of a project for a new cryptocurrency based on POS using the scrypt algo. We are looking for someone that can fork an existing POS open source project and do a few changes. We also require a few wallets, and a block explorer.  If you are interested in joining the team as our main blockchain developer let us know or if you are looking for payment post your price below and your contact details. Thanks.

you can search on freelancer.com and other freelancer websites.
Here most of developers are busy with their own project and i think you can find a developer on freelancer sites.

Thank you for your post, how much would you say would be reasonable to pay for a fork of something open source like Litecoin with a few modifications?

You can also post your thread on this subforum dedicated to services: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

I think you will have better luck finding a dev there. And as far as prices go, I don't think they come cheap.
