This sounds like big news - 330 million users!!  I have been waiting for someone with an MMO to start taking Bitcoin.  And with them developing a Game of Thrones MMO, this is great exposure for Bitcoin.

In fact, Helioui believes so much in the potential of bitcoin that he’s giving those who pay in the digital currency a 5% bonus (they get 5% more virtual goods than they would if they paid with other payment methods). “We’re not only waiting for people to use bitcoins, we are actively encouraging them to because we believe it will help to drive our business forward."

Nice - pass the savings along to the users.  Smart move! Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

This is huge news.

- 300 million accounts created there.
- A member of the gaming industry saying that Bitcoin is the best payment metod for micropayments, basic element in online gaming ang gambling.
-Encouraging users to pay with bitcoin offering 5% extra content.

Time to dream.

Woot!

Looks like I have another game to look into playing!

Coinbase for selling BTCs or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.
PM me with any questions on these sites!  Happy to help!
