Bitcoin decreased its value so did ethereum. If bitcoin goes down to 10$ ethereum will go to half dollar. Not a single altcoin can survive without bitcoin. It is how this market works.

I still don't think that Ethereum can replace Bitcoin in the future, but I saw some price pumps at ETH before BTC started to pump. I saw this multiple times in the last weeks and it is amazing, maybe we will see a flippening in a long time, but I expect it will be a short flippening and Bitcoin will take over again.
