they don't need marketing now because of its revolutionary model, but if growth slower or if they want to raise cultural awareness about the game it'll probably be a smart idea to spend a bit on it, after the game is on a more established version, of course, its still on alpha

regarding government wanting to tax axie income, they can try but the reality is that this is only possible when converting to fiat if not using P2P

Why do they need marketing when Axie Infinity game is already too much popular. Infact, Axie Infinity  is the number 1 blockchain based NFT game right now and its gaining more popularity every day.

binance is really looking for ways how to cater those projects which are attracting good interest from the community. remember, shib? they listed it owed to market demand and not because shib dev team applied to list it. and now, because axie is really getting popular among gamers, they accept deposits from ronin network. so i think, this is also to cater the fast rising game axie and other applications under this network.

Binance was an investor on Axie and hosted their AXS sale on binance launchpad months ago, so it's on their best interest to integrate with Axie Infinity ecosystem, not only chasing hype here

even with all the FUD they are still growing 5-10% per week in DAU, the developers said that a spike in SLP would bring another spike in growth and they are not prepared to grow 30-40% per week again like a couple months back

the devs are quite active and communicative on twitter and discord and appear often on podcasts and videos, the opposite of lack of communication

I think, for them, their presence in social media channels is more than enough to address their community.
And they have reached a lot of players without creating their own thread here but a supporter did.
As Lucasgabd said, they are pretty much active in other channels like twitter or discord, so they can easily answer all the queries from their players as well.
This is interesting how long they can sustain the interest of gamers as they try to take their opportunity to earn from this gaming platform.
