Hi,

I am looking for an online bank account with a credit card which has the following properties:

- Account in EUR (optionally also USD)
- No or low (<= 0.5%) foreign exchange rate fees
- Free SEPA transfers
- Should work with crypto currency internet services (allow to deposit money with it)
- Master card (Visa is an advantage)
- Credit card transactions should be visible online immediately
- Optional: multiple virtual credit cards
- Available in Switzerland

I don't mind paying a monthly fee for it as long as it fulfills these requirements. Revolut looked very promising, but they do not seem to support crypto currency services.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Can anybody move this topic to the parent forum?

If you live in the EEA (which Switzerland unfortunately isn't a part of) you can apply for an IBAN account here:

https://mistertango.com/en/

They have an app which shows card transactions in real time.

The IBAN account allows SEPA and SWIFT transfers and it comes with a MasterCard debit card.

Bitcoin is supported. The account is linked to a dedicated BTC address. Any bitcoins sent to that address are traded and converted automatically at this exchange:

http://btc-exchange.com/

They have an ANN thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1972805.0

Switzerland has a good prepaid card system one of which is Cornèrcard but none of them supports cryptocurrencies.

What about Asian countries ?

For Asian countries, you can apply for the WageCan card. Their website is https://wagecan.com/

The card is available for delivery to all countries, except for a few FATCA non-compliant states. The bad news is the card's price. It's $200+ and that's just the application fee with cost of delivery included.

Then when you get the card you can withdraw max $25k per year. Max 1 card per verified identity. Fees... read and understand them carefully here:

https://wagecan.com/pricing

WageCan is one of the very few active card issuers supporting blockchain assets. They know this which explains their pricing model.

@warningsigns, apart from the high exchange rate fees (2%), https://mistertango.com/ looks very promising. I have just signed up for a card.

If anybody knows a similar offer, but with lower exchange rate fees, I am still interested.

I thought CH is neither EU nor EEA:

https://www.gov.uk/eu-eea

Or was there a recent referendum which might have changed what that website says?

I know of no other cards supporting cryptocurrencies apart from WageCan which delivers cards to Switzerland too. The card is denominated in USD. Not sure about their exchange rates but the cost of applying for the card alone is a revoltingly high $200+ USD.

Skrill cards are supposed to be btc-loadable too, so I read somewhere.

No, The Skrill accounts are loadable with Bitcoin but the cards can't be used with the bitcoin loaded... A kind of BTC wallet only, like people thought with Neteller accounts.
WirexApp and Bitwala can be a good alternative for OP, but we won't see this service before Q2 2018

@warningsigns and @LeGaulois, I have just realised that I was a bit unclear. With "should work with crypto currency internet services" I did not mean that I can load with BTC, but just that I can deposit money with it to bitcoin related services (e.g. bitstamp or cex.io).

Have you checked Mistertango? https://mistertango.com/en/bank-account/ There are several members here using it.
Accounts are in EUR and SEPA in or out are free. The card is a Mastercard. And the company is supposed to be "crypto friendly"
Other than this one, no more idea, sorry.

Yes, I have applied there this weekend. I am surprised that they are still allowed to offer the cards.

My use case has changed a bit. Now, I am looking for three cards (prepaid or credit):
- MasterCard USD and EUR (or better multi-currency USD & EUR)
- Visa USD

They can be virtual or plastic. Ideally, I could order all three at the same place.

The properties I need are the following:
- They should work with all merchants
- They must be available in Switzerland
- It must be possible to receive money onto them
- No special fees for receiving or paying
- Very high transaction limit > 20000 usd/month

Any suggestions?

Why do you expect no fees? You arent gonna get through this with at least 6-10% fees after POS/ATM transactions.

I don't understand what you mean. I am not intending to use POS/ATM at all. All I want is to be able to receive money onto the card (account) and to pay again with it. Should be pretty straight forward (apart from the fact that it is hard to find good EUR/USD cards in Switzerland).

POS = Point Of Sale (instore-purhshases)
ATM = Withdrawal money from ATM machine.

Exchangerate in your country is probably 2.5%+

Exchangerate at card providor is probably 3.25%+

Top that up with fees for deposits to your account / lower value of coins with 2-5%

You cannot get this for free, you need to be ready to pay alot fee's. This is what all these paymentsystem and providers makes their money on, to run their companies.

@kalabele

- They should work with all merchants

I don't think you will find any. Some merchants accept only a card issued from your own country. So if you're trying to buy something using a card issued from Gibraltar for example (which was the case with Advcash) The payment will be rejected. There isn't a lot of merchants refusing but a perfect example of this situation is when you're paying a mobile contract/or bill. As well don't forget that some of them accept only 3D secure cards.
