Taking advantage of the Christmas holiday tradition as a way to introduce more people to Bitcoin, someone should design a physical Christmas card combined with a new, easy-to-access Bitcoin wallet, possibly loaded with Bitcoins, and simple directions to help first-time users figure it out. People could give these cards/gifts to their friends and family. Is it a good idea?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Thanks. I do not have the skills or resources to do this, but I would be really happy if someone picks it up and runs with it.

This is a good idea, but making it secure might be an issue. The only way I can think of securing it is to use something like bit2factor.org, or just making the cards printable so that the "trusted" sender could print the paper wallet onto the card themselves.

Brilliant idea!

Security isn't a giant issue.  It's just for small amounts of money!

Smart idea! As long as the amounts of money are below $150 security of the cards shouldnt be that much of an issue i think
