It is amazing how our children nowadays quickly learn how to use ipods,phones and computers.. But reading of textbooks they have many excuses,its hard for them to understand the topic and how to answer the question even the simple mathematical problems.. Any advice for a parent like me to handle this kind of situation?...

I think you need to be strict to your childrens. You need to take there gadgets. Give theme  time limit for playing.  Not all the time he/ she is right. Some times over playing gadget can cause blindness of eyed.

Limit the use of electronics in your child, suppose you have to give 2-3 hours per day to play the gadget in a day. If it breaks, you can threaten to sell the gadget or reduce the school's allowance for the next day.

Children nowadays are more into technologies. And they don't care much if they'll have kids at a young age.

I don't think so a lot of kids these days actually haven't lost respect for others at all.Every generation thinks the generation after them has no respect. It's not just a thing with this generation. And why should respect be given to someone simply because they're older? A lot of older people don't actually deserve respect. You aren't entitled to respect just because you are older.

Kids nowadays are knowledgeable in high technologies such as gadgets and others, Why? because of their surroundings, They see a lot of people making time with their gadgets like their parents, siblings, and friends.

Then we talk about success in using gadgets, we should remember that this skill is very extern. They don't understand the technologies itself. They push the buttons fluently, but don't now about things behind the interface. And traditional books and homeworks will not help whem to get such kind of knowledge. That is most important issue for me. The children drift apart from traditional education process, but they still don't go deep into technologies as a new field of knowledge and education.

Children's today are more addicted to gadgets. They couldn't leave a day without gadgets. Very normal for them to use a very updated gadgets. As an educational specialist, I strictly recommend you that set a time limit for technology usage of your children. Our children are digital native . That's why, they are good at  learning technological stuff easily. On the other hand, you should not buy a lot of tech stuff to your children for the sake of their mental health.

The generation of children today is very informative and sometimes I notice
they mature faster than we used to. They are very dependent with technology
and gadgets, it makes their life easier and less laborious. The good thing with
this is that information is made accessibly possible in a convenient and easy manner.
However there is a downside effect with the total reliance in gadgets and the
internet, especially when there is too much information and less restriction.
The availability of data that are not morally and sufficiently adequate for their age.
It concerns me the most when there is no set limit and restriction to what children
can access in the internet whether in their homes, at schools or somewhere where this

might affect one's view, perception, well being, attitude, psychology, behavior and

Everything should have it's limit. Having knowledge about the advanced technology is an advantage for our kids but too much usage can cause a lot of negative effects. Gadget usage should put into moderation. I believe that a wise parent knows how to balance everything. We must teach our kids to do first things first. Try to discipline them by teaching them to balance their activities and focus on what is more important.

The future of our children defends on their parents because of nowadays the children are also upgrading the technologies . You should limit the use of
Cellphone, computers and other gadgets .Many children today not to go to school always play in the computer.  Children nowadays are in hightech cause some lessons assignment are forwarded on facebook.

Well what I did with my siblings,Gave them freedom using it as a previlage only, like I always remind them that if they cant answer my academical question Ill take away their gadgets.

Just approach them nicely and keep on reminding them that gadgets are only for fun or just a prize on their age.

In my own experience, my nephew is a gradeschooler andhe spends most of his time on the phone or tablet, just playing games. My nephew doesn't have the best of grades so we made a decision to confiscate his gadget and focus on studying more. My mother tutored him and whenever he gets a test and got a highscore, we reward him by playing an hour with his gadget. This continued on for months now and he is doing great at school.

If kids today is in to technologies and gadget we can take this avenue to teach them instead of insisting them our own way... we just have to be creative in doing so, smart as they are we parents should not be left behind and prove that even though we are not so much into new technologies we can integrate or corporate learning in both ways and know that we are still the captain of the boat and can steer them to what we know is right

We can almost find everything on the internet even all the subject matter that our school has to offer. When properly used, it can be useful for students because they can do their researches at the convenience of their home. Parents are responsible on how their kids will use this technologies to their advantage.

When parents are able to provide gadgets to their children, considering the positive impact is also no less important than the negative impact, then parents need to monitor and control the use of gadgets in their children, both in quantity and quality.
