Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Historical data has almost no bearing on what will happen in Bitcoin in the future. Some people look at the price history and trends of last year and believe religiously that it will happen again. That is total BS, and you should simply ignore that advice.

No time period in a year is exactly the same as the previous year. There are several events that contributed to that specific scenario and that price performance. Chart analysis is a helpful tool but it is not a exact science to predict the future.

So you do not trust the hard data in front of you, but you trust the people behind every news? How do we know that the news released are not FUD or hype?

I don't think it's about trusting news more than data, it's about news being a huge factor, which most data charts cannot predict. For example, Bitcoin was bullish right before news went out that China suddenly banned ICOs and exchanges, after which it plummeted. No chart analysis prediction could have predicted that. I understand the sentiment towards news outlets being untrustworthy though.

The chart can be interpreted in many ways, but all of them will likely agree that Bitcoin is either bullish or bearish because price data cannot be faked.

This is true, but it can also reverse any time given the volatile market and fickle demand. Chart analysts can only correct themselves after the fact.

Bitcoin analyst can't be precise but will be useful in making decision with what to do with your coins. Of course, you should consider a percent for error, but this analyst are experts in terms of their job. I believe they can be reliable.

Do you really trust chart analyst?lot of people predict bitcoin price with chart analyst.but i don't trust them.i think bitcoin price and other crypto price depend on supply, demand and NEWS.

You can trust whatever you want to trust, there are people who are trusting the chart analyst and there are people who are trusting on demand and supply like you.. but if you think deeper, you can trust them both, I don't see any reasons to choose choose the other and disregard the other one, because those things are very important factors when you are investing in cryptos. Let's just open our minds to the things that help us in this industry. Just learn more useful things.

If they are not accurate that means that creator of that charts wants
to mislead you.
Most charts are being made by programs that monitor certain data`s
and they make charts by using that data`s.
Charts that show price movement in past are accurate. I believe in
this charts. The ones that are statistics that show people opinions, and
future is the one that can be false.
I do not use charts as primary tool for making my decisions. I believe
more in team, their ideas, road map, then community that follows that,
and in the end I like to see charts and what charts showing.

BIG WINNER!

I do trust them, chart analysis is important, all traders are using the chart to study the flow for every crypto they want to invest, you can monitor when is the right time to do buy and sell and this really helpful.

There is no reason to trust them as much as we need to trust stock brokers. They are bunch of frauds.

We know there is no legitimate proof chart analysis is really works like a charm, but we can think that indirectly chart analysis is widely used by many traders, so it doesn't need any proof or a valid way to show it really works. in the meantime, the chart analysis is really used widely many traders, so, indirectly the technical analysis become valid and legitimate somehow because many traders have a same technical analysis.

yes if you a daytrader you should need to understand chart, and make some analysis.
But if you're a long term holder, you should see the whitepaper, roadmap, teams of your altcoin.

I believe them, but not fully.. after all, by the end of the line it is supply and demand that runs the market. Chart analysts may be able to present patterns with confidence (depending on the data source), but no one can predict the direction or the future value with absolute confidence.
It is extremely hard to predict market correctly, although there are a few experienced traders that may be able to do it..and most of them don't rely much with charts.

Charts are not enough to put your trust on it, Charts are just a tool to analyzed the possible movement of its value. Since the value are always fluctuating, you can never find specific amount based on chart vs actual amount in trading site.

Charts are very useful in all kind of data gathering for analysis. For the price of BTC and other altcoins charts move according to the volume of supply and demand.
So you can predict the price of BTC  and when to invest according to the movement of the chart.

Although affect the price of the bitcoin is a variety of news and the regulation of the national policy, but because someone will still know in advance the message, so they will purchase or sale in advance, this time can judge from the movements in the chart.

I may trust them but only to a limited extent. I mean, you can't fully trust something of which you have no idea how reliable the data source is, right?
But of course chart analysts are good or extremely good in presenting patterns of prices with considerable accuracy, but it is hard to really predict the future since prices always fluctuate. On the other hand, experienced traders may have a different opinion with this one.

I refer chart analyst before moving further. I believe in it. The chart is prepared with either annually / half yearly /quarterly and etc growth ratio. The old data trend is studied and current chart is prepared. Current news or any new incidents may surely affect the growth and have a bit change in chart. But if you look at, you will have 70 percentage is true as per the chart analyst.

I trust them! They present patterns reflecting fluctuations in the market thru a data source that is usually disclosed so can validate it.
And this patterns they present, depending on the source, would tell us of the accuracy. That's why I will trust in charts analysts with confidence.
HOwever, will also try and consult other sources, such as experienced traders that may have a few worthwhile insights at their disposal.
