I have credential fatigue.  I don't want to create more user IDs and passwords for more sites.  I don't want to worry about every site's security procedures.

And when I build a new site, I don't want to spend so much time on authentication.

So what's the solution?  OAuth?

Would anybody use a challenge-response alternative like http://toolchain.eu/verifypoc/poc ?

I use LastPass (http://www.lastpass.com)   * Note: I am not affiliated with them in any way.

All my passwords are now 15 characters and contain uppercase, lowercase, numbers and special.  The passwords synch to all my computers/browers and even my iphone.  I don't care if a site is compromised because the password isn't used anywhere else.  I just have to remember my "master password" in order to use it.
