if you still don't know how to identify them genuine or scam you should have to read a lot and do a lot of research like reading whitepapers, seeing teams and communities on telegram because that will help you find real projects or scams

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?
Actually it is very hard to identify if one ICO is scam my advice to you is make your own research about the project and the background of the team, better to invest with a huge community ICO and reach soft cap.

I do not think that there will be guaranteed services or services in this case, because I see that today there are not even people who could seriously determine how truly projects can not be successful or vice versa.

As long as you join a lot of bounty and ICO, then you will gain a lot of experience to choose ICO in subsequent times. It is difficult to distinguish if you have never invested in those projects

You can't simply find out any project that it is legit or scam just can any tricks and tips because it needs lot of time to find out about the project and their legitimate behaviour towards the investors. By researching about the project you will give that good Clear View about the project.

I think you can check it on some ICO observers, like ICO bench, or ICO hot. because there all the teams and things about the ICO company have been explained.

Checking the background of the ICO is one of the bets way to avoud high scam ICO. But it doesn't mean that you cannot lose money because there is still chances for you to lose money because we really don't know if the ICO that you invested is really legit maybe behind the good information there is not bad purposes of the team which is to run away once the investor invest their money.

the way you always do when you know the ICO is a scam or not is to check the whitepaper, telegram group, website, roadmap, and also their team. also make sure their sales tokens are transparent so that we can find out the investor funds that are obtained. usually when the ICO scams investor money will never be returned.

As I am also new here, what I am trying to do now is read the post/advises of old members knowledgeable in this forum. From them, I learned the following:
1. Knew the people/team behind the project, their credentials and capabilities. 2. Study the project itself, if it is relevant in this new era of world development 3. Be observant, read as much as you can their whitepaper and all other pertinent papers regarding the ICO. 4. Take time and analyse all the gathered information before deciding to join or invest in an ICO.
Hope that this will help you too.

Probably very confidently we can say you can make a very large analysis of the projects. Now it is possible to check the site owners as well to check whether the right people are really displayed on the company's website.

Ask in group telegrams) Maybe they will answer you. There are no ways. There are no opportunities. Faith and experience, and then our conclusions are not always correct.

Most ICOs are scams today. Nowadays no ICO can be trusted. ICO can scam anytime. There is no guarantee that ICO will not scam. So I will tell you not to invest in ICO. Because investing in ICO means to drop your money in water. And ICO is not known to be fake, it is very difficult to know. Even if some things are noticed, ICO is real or fake. It is understood that ICO's white paper is well verified. Many times when looking at the white paper, it is understood that ICO is real.
Thank you

Actually, there is no guaranteed way to define whether the project is scam or not, but you should pay attention to such factors as main idea, team skills and Whitepaper to avoid scams.

Nobody knows whether the ICO is a scam or not rather than Allah. We cannot say if a project is hundred percent sure if its a scam until we found out.

If it were easy to find fraudulent ICO projects, then the problem with fraud in ICO projects would have been solved long ago. However, identifying them is not so easy, and the possibilities in us are limited. And fraudsters invent new ways of fraud. I believe that government regulation of ICO activities will be a reliable way to defeat fraud in ICO projects. Many states are taking certain steps in this direction.

Almost difficult, in my opinion menggap or categorize ico scam or not because sometimes I am wrong in assuming ico is a scam actually successful, because indeed fraud has been formed from the beginning of the concept and their team was fake

Check the project first, is it a good project or not. Bad project usually have a really simple website, unknown team, copy paste whitepaper. There are so many scam ico out there, so be careful bro, be wise about your money.
