ATP Acapulco: Thiem vs. Shapovalov

Shapovalov has very nice odds right now @ 2.60
It's well known now that Thiem is just average on hard court, sadly for him he cannot execute his tennis the way he does on clay.
Shapovalov just won a very nice match against Nishikori.

For me Shapovalov's odds should be around 2.20, so I see a value and I think the odds will go down....

The bet on Japan was terrible, not only they lost, but I had the bet @ 1.65 when later on the odds went up to @ 1.80, never a good sign.

It's very rare I bet on WTA, women tennis is very unpredictable, I guess you have to go for high odds

Here I am quite surprised by Jaziri's odds. He beat Dimitrov, and then Haase, two really brilliant matches.
He is a Wild Card here but often play well in this tournament (took a set out of Federer few years ago).

It's not like the young player from Greece, Stefanos Tsitsipas, is a consistent threat on the tour. He lacks power and is still fragile mentally.

I would recommend to bet at this price of 2.39, Jaziri has a great run so far and he should not be priced that high.

By the way, I am going to bet a double stake on Dubai (for the first time in this thread): Bautista-Agut vs. Jaziri

The reason of this bet is that I did win yesterday with Jaziri, and he's been playing a terrific tournament, but he looked totally gased out at the end of his match yesterday (tough 3 setters).
Jaziri asked for a MTO at the start of the third set (medical time out), he could barely run but won the match with his heart and thanks to massive support from the crowd.

I would not be surprised if Jaziri withdraws due to physical problem... but at www.nitrogensports.com they pay the bets on the winner market as long as one full set is complete.
I don't think Jaziri will be fit to compete with Bautista-Agut.
For those who know a little about the Spanish players on the tour, Bautista-Agut has this typical game of a Spaniard, plays every point at 100% (much like Ferrer), not massively talented but a grinder fighting on every point, and I think the worst kind of opponent for Jaziri at this stage.

I have a suspicious match here.

Serbia / Super Liga / Radnik - Macva

The odds for Over 2.5 goals are dropping very hard.
I have Over 2.5 goals @ 1.72

Don't know if it is a fix or what. We'll see. Or it could be great defenders out of the game due to injury (or injured goal keeper), not sure.

Will follow this closely.


PS: it is also strange to see Pinnacle offering this kind of markets, I thought they banned countries such as Serbia or Albania from their offer. They will probably close the lines if it keeps dropping.


PPS: no fix is certain in this world, I have seen very strange things in the last 5 years, odds dropping very hard for a selection to win... and in the end it was a lost bet! So caution needed at all times.
