Since you are member rank person, you seems pretty active on the forum. Still I don't understand how many smerits you have! There are legendary and other high rank members doing meriting service for the quality posts. At the same you came in here do the same. Hope it goes better. Wishing you to get the better reputation on this.

Hello Tim, I have seen you posting around, I think I am beginning to see now who the active forum members are here. I actually have not really given out merit yet, like you I am trying to see who the best Jr members are since I understand the veterans seem to get a good supply. I know my posts are not very high quality because I don't have a good technical understanding but I always feel I try to help people. Anyway, here is one post I am submitting for consideration. One question for you. Can you be clear on what is a highest quality thread/post for you ? Do you consider length as one of the aspects ?
I will be uploading some guidelines but nothing is set in stone. I am just looking for the BEST content. So length doesn't play a role. Whatever the post or thread is, it must have a lot of impact on the cryptocurrency community. Like I said, more information will come out as to how I will be "grading" the content. I will also be reviewing every comment today at around 5PM EST. Everyone who posts will get feedback and either an acceptance or decline. |

This is true, however, I am only giving Merit to the best posts/threads on the forum. So if you have a merit from me, it shows the power of your work. I think it is fairly clear in the OP as to what I am doing. I am looking for influential posts/threads that are of the best quality. I don't have any specific requirement as I am trying to think of something. Once someone posts a good thread/post you will see what I am looking for. I never claimed to have given anyone merit lol, I don't know where these assumptions are coming from.

Seems to me you are saving up your sMerit so you can use them however benefits you the most. :/

This "Merit Rewarding" thing is becoming more of a self-promotion now in my opinion. It was good when done by one, two or at least 3 members with higher ranks, but now it seems like every other member with the hope of getting Merits for the thread is starting a "Merit Rewarding" campaign, just because the previous such threads have received quite a lot of Merits from other users as a help for the service.
There is no need of reviewing the posts of people and award them if they are constructive because they will eventually receive merits if they deserve any. Such a service is only good for the reason that if a post gets ignored because of the many posts after that in threads with many pages as no one actually click each page and read the posts to see if there are any constructive posts or not, but they merit only the ones they come across in any thread. But now it is going too far, just like the "Transaction Accelerator Services" of Services section which are more than needed.
