Nvidia has produced some of the best GPU mining cards in recent years. The company has not only targeted gaming geeks but also cryptocurrency miners by offering them high-quality GPU’s. Last year the company unveiled its most powerful GPU around the world, popularly known as Nvidia Titan V. Due to its great features, it has succeeded in setting up a benchmark in terms of GPU mining abilities.

According to a report, Nvidia Titan V is two times faster at Ethereum mining than its predecessor Titan XP. The Nvidia Titan V also shocked crypto miners when it beat an overclocked GTX 1080 Ti.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Cool spec sheet. Looking forward to seeing it in the wild. What's the estimated price?

Nvidia has already announced new series of GPUs that will come out this year, I guess this is just one of them. But I don't like how they emphasized that this card is best for Ethereum mining. When those ETH ASIC miners hit the market, mining Ethereum with GPU will not be as profitable. But I guess that if its good for Ethereum, it will be good for other coins that are based on Ethash. Also if it can beat GTX 1080 Ti in mining, and if price is not to high... I guess its something worth checking out.

$3000 is too much for single card, even for a very good card. For that price it is completely useless for mining.

These are useless for mining. ETH mining with gpu is dead anyways. Until Nvidia or Amd release a new gpu specifically made for mining it will be sad for gpu mining.

Technically it's pretty impressive.
But the price and hash power ratio is not really rational, therefore, it's not really worth to try.
I'll skip to the next version from NVIDIA. They will lunch the new GPU in several months from now.

Even if its the one that 2dMoond said it is, its still too much. No matter how much that card can mine, ROI time would be too long. No one is crazy enough to buy it for that price, with everything that is going on the risk is just too great. Or maybe people are crazy enough, and Nvidia knows that? Even GTX 1080 Ti was too pricey. If its price was in range of $800-1000, I guess people would consider buying it, but $3k .... simply insane.

All this was well known in December '17,   The real Shame is all the miners ignore the 640 Tensor Cores.  Would love to see
a miner that uses those too,  if a mining program could use the Tensor Cores too, then this Card might be worth the 3k.
