ICO trending in 2018

Hello everybody,
We are talking about ICO trending in this year 2018 and how to evaluate a good ICO - what is the most important factors?
Firstly, Let's look back into 2017 ICO trending:
- Exchange 's token (Kucoin, Binance...): Very very successful
- Mining/Lending/MLM coin: Now all dead!
- Platform coin (like CMT, ADA, NEO)

In my opinion, there are many changes in ICO trending 2018.
+ We no need more exchanges (but decentralized exchanges)
+ There will no land for lending/ ponzi coins
I think this is time for project that building advanced blockchain platform and applying blockchain technology into our real-life (education, medical, ..)

And once more question: What is the most important factors to evaluate a good project?
In my opinion, I usually look into these 5 factor:
1. The Main idea
2. The Team
3. The whitepaper
4. The roadmap, the official website and other social channels
5. The community: What the community review/ talk about the project.

It usually takes me about 3-5 days to evaluate an ICO project.

There are many new concept we should consider about new ICO trending in 2018:
- IBO
- SBO (Secured Blockchain Offering)
- DAICO

I think the next ICO project needs to pay more attention to whether it is open source code.
And the ICO project comes from which country, because some countries have a lot of restrictions on ICO projects.
