I don't think so. Monero's background and technology is better than Deeponion.
They can't provide monero's privacy.

I think it will be but currently isn't. It is a new coin with a good roadmap, whereas monero has been around for several years. If deeponion can complete it's roadmap which includes smart contracts, then it will be better than monero and it is still currently very cheap.

Monero background is obviboius more growed and big than Deeponion and the Monero enviroment is more stable and fixed in the time, btu this year all others privacy related crypots will have a huge interest i think just waiting for few months and see

I couldnt disagree XSPEC has a lot of potential but the developer team doesnt have enough funds to develop the project,if i would have a chance to investo to this coin from the start i could have give half of my portfolio,XMR is very outdated by these new privacy coins which true,because these new altcoins are getting more upgrade than the first generation of altcoins.

Deeponion does have OBSF4, and is supposed to have stealth address soon, if the devs keep up with the roadmap deeponion could have  a pretty good rise in use, rigth now is pretty cheap, already has been $20, could easily be $75-100 by next july.

Regarding the Monero / Onions discussion: The technical aspects of DeepOnion is not the only thing. In my opinion there are a lot more coins out there, which are technically better than monero. But Monero has the first mover advantage (like Bitcoin) regarding anonymous coins and the community is (still) bigger than our (Hope that will change :p ). Furthermore, Monero is way more famous. Those 2 Arguments are hard to break. But lets hope for the best guys

I would have to disagree for now because in my comparison currently, Monero had increase it's value at 0.67% while DeepOnion has a huge drop of 6.67% on it's price value. Moreover, Monero coin has better blockchain technology than DeepOnion and Monero belongs to the top 12 in the coinmarket cap currencies that is a good coin for investment.

Deep onion is pure garbage. XMR (besides a non easy wallet function) actually has the best privacy out of all the coins. Deep Onion (besides working with TOR) has no real actual use and can trace transactions. There's a few threads popping up with proof that Deep onion is indeed a scam. Just stick with XMR (avoid Verg) and youll be fine.

I think Deeponion can hit monero due to :
-The use of TOR browser in order to execute transactions ( TOR is unhackable )
-Its transaction size is very small
-The division of its mining pools into groups

I am reading some review for deep onion too and there are many negative comments out there. Deep onion has many followers already, and its like  to succeed but I am doing research on what this coin really can do. Main features  is anonymity and secured but there are other coin that has this features too.Still I am contemplating  to invest more in this token.

DeepOnion is hugely undervalued especially for what they have to offer in comparison to many other privacy coins. DeepSend will be coming soon, which is a unique and revolutionary feature for a privacy coin. DeepVault is also very unique. Vote central will be coming soon as well, and sometime this year the capability for smart-contracts. With a relatively similar supply of coins compared to Monero, DeepOnion is certainly possible to exceed $100 per coin. I remember when Monero was in the $50 range and I thought $100 seemed high. Months later Monero reached a high of $460+ with a 7.3bln market cap, I was amazed by that growth. One thing I have learned is to not underestimate good cryptocurrencies, because I have woken up to my portfolio up over 400% in the time it took me to sleep. May 2018 be a huge year for DeepOnion!
